Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 11, 2023October 11, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 6 Molfetta Cruise and No. 7 Jumpin’ Jules Final here and a few fence-crashers to make the first section interesting. The 6 just needs to clear the 7s early step and it becomes the one to beat. Highly talented and can come from anywhere. The 7 will surprise with a spear out and could cross with some trouble inside. She doesn’t run much time but can be hard to get past. Worth a small each way spec. The 8 is the big smokie. Needs traffic jams but might happen here. Place heavy spec on her if she got to big big odds. Race 6 No. 6 Bergelmir and No. 7 Sneaky Emoji The 6 has some ability and trialled well the other day. Gets a lovely map with a bad crasher inside him. If he finds the top, it’s only fitness he’s playing against then. The 7 will get a great drag over too. Has more strength at the back end and and very promising youngster. Clear run sees him in this. He’s should get it. Race 7 No. 6 Whiskey On Rocks and No. 1 Indy Go Ruby The 6 is due to break through. Consistently hitting the frame and versatile in a field where she comes from anywhere. Just needs that slide through into the back. The 1 could surprise with a clean step. Coming off a freshen and can sprint well off this draw. Track and trip record good. Race 8 No. 6 Daddy’s Girl and No. 4 Pea Pettigrew The 6 is moderate early but the draw is ok here and she could wind up into this through the middle. The closer she lands, the harder she becomes to stop. The 4 relies on a good break and when he nails it, he is very hard to mow down. Will look for an early arm and will become the one to beat if he gets it. Chance here. Race 10 No. 3 Happy Quinn and No. 8 She’s Electric Don’t dismiss the 3 in this. Rarely draws in and will appreciate this box. Can step quickly and could shock these if she finds the arm this time. The kennel mate in 8 could slide over here and put herself in it up the back. Could even lead if she gets the fly and that will make her hard to stop then. Race 11 No. 4 Watanabe and No. 5 Summer Of Love The 4 gets his chance here in this limited affair. Can show good box manners and speed and if he lands on top early he will go close. Been racing harder races. The 5 will come on from the back and if she gets a look up the back, she will take some stopping. Each way players both. Race 12 No. 3 Calico Joe and No. 8 Not Much Kuna The 3 ran out of his skin last start behind a tough field. Wasn’t beaten far and showed good dash from the outside. Better draw here and could pounce on the arm. Big each way show. The 8 will slip around these quickly and is ultra consistent. Runs her low-22s and that wins this. Could find the top with a fly step. Save there. Market Market
