Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 18, 2024June 18, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 2 No. 2 Escapologist Whilst her form isn’t flattering, this is hardly the toughest race she’s faced. A lot of these are limited and she can reel off sections most this field cannot. Only has to land closer to be a major threat late. Race 3 No. 6 Too Slippery A shame this wasn’t over the 488m trip as her work through the maiden series was solid. Still looks a tractable type who can work her way into this and be a huge threat turning. Won’t take long to break through and she goes close here. Race 4 No. 6 Upper Tux Another who has a stack of talent and just needs a clean step to go close here. Tardy out last week before mustering into it strongly and placing and can go one better here with a good step. Has terrific speed and gets his chance now. Race 7 No. 7 Steel Girl Rocketed out last week when going all the way in 6.20/22.25 and repeat will see her go seriously close again. Needs to lead to win but has great pace and handles all boxes well enough with her early dash. Looks set to score again. Race 8 No. 4 Erasmus Duke and No. 8 Impress Rocks The 4 looks to have a bit on these even though it’s over the shorter trip. Good in a field and been racing much better opposition than this and only a good step and early room stands between him and victory. The 8 will muster up out wide again and while he’s been easing inside dogs at the first turn, he will get room here and will have no excuse not to run into it. Trust needed but can win. Race 9 No. 3 Loki Hook Loves racing here and boxed to assert himself quickly and be hard to beat. Rarely misses the frame and has a terrific turn of foot off the mat. If he finds the top early or close to it, he will become the one they have to stop to the point they probably won’t. Race 10 No. 4 Silly Old Bear and No. 7 Zulu Buddy The 4 actually gets a decent map here as he is lacking early dash but looks for the fence quickly. Once there he works home hard and will be charging along the inside late to be a threat. The 7 is hot and cold. He can run into well and handles wide draws ok. Doesn’t win often but will get his chance here. EW save. Market Market
