Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 27, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 3 Bear Of All Maidens aren’t my thing, but this bloke, courtesy of two very slow beginners inside him, will never get a better chance to breakthrough than this. Has been pancaked 3 times off this corner start now from bad boxes and he finally gets the right map. This is his to lose. Race 6 No. 8 Wynburn Joy Boxed to absolute perfection here. Stays right off and with a clean step, she can quickly sweep around and land in the striking spot to be a frame hitter. Strong home and will get every possible from the box. Race 7 No. 2 Leg Press and No. 3 Call Me Trinity The 2 disappointed slightly last week. Expected a bit more drive up the back but she was sorting her first corner start out. Can find much more this time and lead throughout. Don’t dismiss the 3 who is stepping regularly these days and while she holds a middle line, she sticks on well and can surprise here. At the very least she runs cover for the 2. Race 10 No. 7 Big Ollie With the widest running greyhound in Australia engaged in box 8, the 6 only has to go with him to utilise the fence and rail his way home here. Has a 16.16 to his name and that just wins this. Can step and muster and small field suits perfectly. The racing traits will play a huge part here if they are head to head first turn. Race 11 No. 3 Fearless One and No. 1 Stella Forever The 3 opened up the huge quote and now he’s 2nd up, he will be ready to improve immensely. A very capable dog who has run some superb races at Mandurah and has won here before track and trip. Can run time and step better than last week. The 1 is the danger after her win last week. Was incredible through the field where she managed to handle herself in a way very few can do between dogs. Major threat here. Race 12 No. 2 Aston Casino This is it. He can not possibly give another excuse if he goes down against these. Boxed to land close, he can then sustain the run and break 22 and will be given every conceivable hope this time. Must produce!!
