Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 9, 2024January 9, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 5 No. 1 Tick Tick Tick and No. 6 Miss Vivas The 1 finally has his box. Starting to run a few too many placings so needs a better step and show more conviction early here but is very capable of dispatching these. No excuses this time. The 6 will show her customary pace and she enjoys being off the track. A slippery 22.39 PB for this grade sees her a major threat in this with a clean getaway. Race 6 No. 2 Bang and No. 7 Bracton Where does the 2 go from here if he doesn’t lead all the way? A potent force when he gets the arm, there are no immediate slingshots around him to delay this occurring. If something does lead him, he gets no more until he finds the old box speed. The 7 will be a quote in this but there is a rare world where he swishes over and rattles these like a cookie jar. He is not going that badly and could stun if events transpired favourably to the first turn. Small each way spec there. Race 8 No. 7 Messed Up Mary and No. 8 Sunset Blackhawk These two look to take command of this field and then it comes down who conquers who. The 7 has more experience here and she was good last start and handles all draws while the 8 has his box and will muster up very quickly. The better run in transit wins. Race 10 No. 5 Bondi Monelli and No. 7 Comet Bay Katie The Jeffries kennel represented by two veteran speedsters here who both dart out at box rise. It’s a matter of who gets the arm first here. The rest of the field will need a lot of luck to head one of these two off. Either 5 or 7 should win and the quinella wouldn’t stun at all. Race 11 No. 1 Circle The Sea This is his box, this is his grade, this is his race. If he was to rediscover his earlier box manners, he would put these to the sword and light them up. It’s that first 30m where he will win or lose this. He is better than these and if he can just step, he will give this lot the business. Race 12 No. 5 Paua Of Molly She has one job. Cross or quickly assume control off the red. They are the only two early splitters in this and will go at it for the first 150m. The 5 is the better dog, the 1 has the better box and while she might have the license, it may not be enough to buy the liquor. The 5 only has to repeat its last start to win. Market Market
