Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Tips Posted on December 8, 2022March 10, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 6 No. 1 Sweet Emily and No. 8 Paddy Whack Good final this. The 1 is boxed to give a huge sight. Will end up a FFA short course dog and can win this on repeat of last week. The 8 is a massive quote and can descend if the speed in the middle come together. Place heavy for him. Race 7 No. 8 He Can Browse The fav leads but he’s doing things in the home straight these days that you don’t want your fav doing. That’s where this bloke comes in. Should be first on the scene and can get there if there is any issue with the fav late. Race 8 No. 8 Alabama Shakes Will rush up quickly here. Only has to cross these and that should be check and mate. Has good burn and runs time and won’t be caught on a clean arm. Race 9 No. 4 Fearless One Priced to play. He can muster quickly this dog and sticks on stoutly in his races. Has been competitive here and only needs to offset the box to give an EW show. Race 11 No. 8 No Ideas Has been well backed and if she spears out the way she can, we will see why. Can cart over and show this field a clean set early and very hard to catch when she gets away over this trip. SANDOWN PARK Race 2 No. 2 Belle Violin He has a very good draw here with the very wide running 3 showing early speed. Made good ground last time and superb prior to that behind a smart one. Only has to muster up a bit better here and he’s right in this. Race 4 No. 5 Jackpot Joan First heat of the Laurels and she’s very well placed. Big win last start and has a tremendous overall record track and trip. Can step, run on, come from anywhere. Hits the podium here with any luck at all. Race 8 No. 4 Osprey Athena and No. 6 Cash It In Another Laurels heat and while the fav will be hard to beat, there are a couple of place heavy goes here that can upset her if she gets back. The 4 is good and can reel off big sections while the 6 is very strong and will play for luck but is a silly price all the same. Both can figure. Race 9 No. 7 Fur Pyjamas Has some talent this girl. Well drawn out there and will go fast to rush into the first turn. If she finds the top it will take an almighty performance for anything to catch her. Big price and big hope. EW player but can win!! Race 12 No. 2 My Bonneville and No. 4 Lady Lily Hook They met last week with the 2 getting the verdict and it will look a similar battle again. The 4 steps but can get a little wide but no denying her talent. While the 2 can run anything and is highly promising. They will go close to both hitting the podium again even though this is slightly tougher. ANGLE PARK Race 5 No. 3 He’s Our Design and No. 2 Springvale Max The 3 gets his chance to find the arm here and he is very hard to catch when he does. Don’t ignore him at all. Can surprise. He doesn’t want the 2 on his tail however and he gets the save here. First turn critical. Race 8 No. 3 Orson Katie and No. 1 Clear View The 3 gets her best chance to break through here. Map super and can land closer than usual and she runs on hard. The 1 is boxed to win if she holds up early. Was good in a hard race last week and goes much better from the inside. Race 11 No. 3 Tingling and No. 8 Urban Ranger Not only is there an upset on here, but the 3 shouldn’t be anywhere near the price he is. Gets the best map you will see and if he steps his best, will land in a spot these don’t want him. While we are keen on the 3, have a little EW save on the 8 at a huge quote. Can rush over here surprise at the odds. Racing ok and can figure. Race 12 No. 7 Manuka Boy Superb effort last week for a dog who had not trialled here. Find panels this week and will improve enough to put himself in the finish. Can muster, run on and handle a field well. Will look ominous with a little luck this time. DAPTO Race 8 – The Group 1 Megastar Final Super race this with 6-7 legitimate chances. For that reason, a minor upset is on the cards. The 6 Punters Bandit actually has a good draw here. Fence inside her and wide outside, she can position up early and was unlucky in her heat not to finish much closer. The 4 Lochinvar Lona is another who can race well. The wide running 3 will beat him out and he can then muster forward underneath that dog and put himself into a striking spot. He’s very good this bloke when he gets a look at the arm. The 7 Father Rick is boxed out where he wants to be and he will rush up early to look for a spot through the first turn. If he gets close he can hit the podium and is underrated. 1, 2, 8 all can win without shocking here in one of the most open finals in some time. Selections: 6 – 4 – 7 for us
