Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Tips Posted on December 1, 2022March 10, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 5 No. 7 Bamsy’s Boy and No. 3 Fernando Fury The 7 has some class and if he steps and shows his speed, he crosses and wins. Has raced the best around here. The 3 gets a good map here and he is always competitive in this company. Don’t dismiss him and kennel flying. Race 8 No. 7 Jasmine Keeping Superb last week when breaking through and no reason she can’t repeat the dose. Drove up and sustained her run to the line and is improving every start. Drawn ok here and can hit the podium. Race 9 No. 5 Macevoy and No. 6 Prime Of Life The 5 isn’t out of this. Draw tricky but if he finds his better box manners he can surprise here. Needs to produce though this time. The 6 is dropping back in trip but he’s very good and was excellent last time over the 490m. Will be strong here with a clear run. SANDOWN PARK Race 5 No. 8 Jackpot Joan Led til the last little bit over the middle trip and took a good one to run her down last time. Back to the sprint and she will give a great sight here. Handles the draw, comes from anywhere and can hit the placings. EW go for her. Race 8 No. 6 Lady Lily Hook and No. 1 My Bonneville The 6 was enormous at her first go over this distance last week. Pinballed early then made up many lengths to take ground off very good dogs. May have ran 6th but was strongest on the line and only 3.5 off them. She would be a standout if the 1 wasn’t in this who I have a wrap on. Stack of talent this one. Good in a field and had a superb set of gears. Will be hard to stop. Both dogs huge hopes. Race 9 No. 2 Weblec Star Gets the step up in trip she has badly needed and gets the box to go with it. Been tremendous since returning from SA and is ready to win. Can step and she is very strong over this distance. They are betting EW which is superb as she should be shorter for mine. Race 10 No. 6 Piscopo Bale Has a ridiculously strong formline through Paddy Wants Pats etc. Great win over Throssell Bale two back and no luck a very tough race last start. Clear run will see her hit the line hard here and be difficult to hold out. ANGLE PARK Race 1 No. 8 Sandave Diamond and No. 7 Banjo Riley The 8 was good in his heat. Crunched at box rise then worked hard to get into a striking spot and stuck on well at his first go over this trip in a long time. Boxed to roll down the outside early and will be much tougher to crack on the arm if he gets it. The 7 is the smoky. He made sustained ground from way back in the heat and can surprise here with a few arm dogs out of their comfort zone. Both dogs can go well EW. Race 3 No. 5 Springvale Bray It was the toughest watch the other day at Gawler. Jumped beautiful but slipped and lost ground only to recover quickly and be snookered until the top where he was about to go through when again stood on his head. Run was huge. Desperately unlucky. Goes well here. Race 5 No. 5 Chair Man Had excuses first up over this trip and expect a different show here. Has all sorts of talent and while the box isn’t ideal, the price is for a dog who only needs an ounce of early luck. Can drop silly sections. Don’t dismiss him EW. Race 7 No. 5 Zipping Chew Another who will improve a lot from his first up effort last week. May have ran last of 5 but wasn’t beaten far and it was a fairly decent race. This is slightly easier and he’s fitter this time. Will look ominous if he’s close late. Race 12 No. 8 War Drum Express He can surprise this bloke. Small field back over the sprint and he’s racing fairly well which gives him a good chance here in this company. Can deliver some good sections and if he’s close, he’s in the finish. Top two player.
