Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on August 10, 2023August 10, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 6 No. 1 Stanga Fire Boxed to go close here. Yet to miss a place here at Northam and form is superb. Should hit top 2 with off the gun draw. Race 7 No. 3 Comet Bay Katie and No. 1 Bondi Monelli Kennel mates to go fast here. The 3 gets a better draw here and she could lead. Will need to cross the 1 however who also steps quickly and drawn to figure. Both will be prominent first turn. Leader should get away to score in the run home. Race 8 No. 2 Little Honda and No. 8 Incredible Aura The 2 will get a nice map here and she stays on the fence to run home well. Again double figures and can hit the frame. The 8 was good last week and a repeat sees him in the finish. Strong run home and can handle the draw. If he’s close he’s a threat. Race 12 No. 1 Turtle Fernando He will muster up quickly here and his chances depend on how well he steps. If he comes out with them, he should hold the arm and that will be it. Just has to ensure nothing crosses him. Big show. THE MEADOWS Race 7 No. 2 Zoha Bale and No. 8 Moraine Suzie The 2 was ridiculous last week. That was at Sandown and he goes even better here. If he gets any room he will be awfully hard to stop. The 8 gets a save at the EW. She will just keep on coming and finish off hard. The 2 clearly the dog to beat though. Race 8 No. 1 Tinker Norm and No. 7 Zippy Tesla Fav hard to stop if he comes out running but he will have company if he misses it. The 1 was outstanding last week and handles the fence just as well. Drives up here and will be hard to stop. The 7 will cross over heels and play for luck. Look out if he gets it. Will thunder home again and at the odds he gets a place heavy play. Many hopes if the fav doesn’t lead. WENTWORTH PARK Race 6 No. 4 Ritza Piper She could land closer this week and repeat if her win two starts back will see her hard to beat here. Can get up there or come from back and looks a super top two chance here at the odds and can win the race if the leaders don’t get away. Race 7 No. 3 We Don’t Share and No. 10 Zipping Novak The 3 will get a nice map here. Speed inside him pushing up and he can track them up to stake his claim up the back and sustain the strong run home. EW odds and can hit the frame if he’s chiming in at the right time and he can be here. The 10 will also get some attention is he gains a start off and inside box. ALBION PARK Race 5 No. 3 Select Moment and No. 1 Spot On Harper The 3 led all the way at Ipswich over the long trip beating some of these and never looked like stopping. She will go close to landing right there again and she is very good on the arm. Could prove very hard to catch. The 1 will stay literally all day. Gets back but box might keep her close and she will start storming into it up the back with the 2 dog. Could hit the frame if she gets the breaks late. Race 7 No. 7 All Natural and No. 2 Get Carter The red the one to beat but there are some early speed dogs in this that could give him company. The 7 has a blistering turn of foot on his first split. If he steps and gets room to operate, watch him drop the pedal. Needs to lead however. The 2 will run on well and he hits the frame a lot but he also likes chasing his opponents. Wears the blinkers for a reason but can place at the very least. Market Market
