Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 6, 2024June 6, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 4 No. 1 Magic Entry and No. 2 Touch Of Tommy Last chance for the 1 here. Needs to step and use the box to lead these and there will be no excuses from there. The 2 will improve a stack on his first run here last week and he will muster Into it quickly. If he lands close he will give a sight as well. Race 5 No. 1 Wise Emperor and No. 3 Ruthless Tiger The 1 will look for the early arm here. Box isn’t exactly ideal but the step up to 500 can offset that and away from corner starts as well. If holds up he’s hard to mow down. The 3 is getting his last go too. Been costly to no end for a dog with a lot of talent but he’s just mucking around lately. He might get a chance to land top two early here and it’s on then. Must produce this time. Race 7 No. 6 Carrie Heffernan and No. 5 Bracton If the 6 steps and pushes up out wide, she can find the arm. That would be check and mate against these. She will be aided by the 5 who will start quickly and look to repeat last weeks win here. She could prove hard to catch as well if she lands the arm. Leaning to the 6 however. Race 8 No. 4 Rhythmic Moment and No. 2 Vander Harley Looking for the 4 to go fast early again and find the top. Was superb last week when he didn’t lead but he was chasing a dog who was never running the trip. He did run away from another strong dog however and can lead this time. The 2 will play for first turn luck but she’s strong and the change of track will spark her up with any luck. Has trialled here. Race 10 No. 3 Coulter Bale and No. 2 Shima Dream The 3 gets a map where he only has to hold the fence first then. He will improve immensely on his effort last week off a tough draw and gets a great run here. EW for him. The 2 will go fast to lead and will be stronger again this time. Beaten last week but 29.75 in defeat was super and can go close with a similar effort here. Very good dog. Race 11 No. 8 Warm Regards and No. 2 Disco Trixie Intriguing stayers race. Many chances. The 8 went well last week and she will find a stack from that. If she can step and hold up out wide and land handy this time, she will run into it strongly and be hard to stop. The 2 is also starting regain her better form and will put in another forward effort this week. Boxed to land close again and she will improve. Fav hard to stop but she does need luck. Good race. Race 12 No. 8 Bundegi Boxed to get her chance. Stayed wide last week which cost her in the run home but that’s her go. Easier this week and could rush up here and lead and will be awfully hard to stop if she does. Even landing close would see her a main threat. Big EW chance here.
