Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 19, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 3 No. 6 West On Trixie and No. 8 Piper Spolly The 6 has a tricky draw but a clean step and room will make her the one to stop. The 8 shows pace here and hard to run down if she crosses cleanly first turn. Race 4 No. 1 Global Plan and No. 2 Warm Regards The 1 rarely wins but he’s a frame hitter again here after a good effort last week. Strong home. As is the 2 who is the best dog in the race. Clear running up the back is all she needs to win this. Race 6 No. 7 Athena Girl and No. 8 Rona’s Rocket The 7 is under rated and could muster up into a striking spot here. Will keep coming at odds and can figure. The 8 will go across heels early and look for fence runs. This looks messy so it could appear and she is a late charger. Race 8 No. 2 Daph’s Yak and No. 3 Turtle Fernando The 2 is the best dog who only needs to step here. Any time he can find the front will see this all over. The 3 can come on from mid field and will appreciate early room he will get here. Place heavy player. Race 9 No. 4 Lenny Coaster This is her chance. Will go forward and try to lead but only has to be with the leader to score here. Times are simply better than the others. Unbelievable each way price about her so she’s a bet. Race 10 No. 6 Harley Monelli Small field is how she gets into this. Can reel off good sections when she gets trouble free runs. Will get that here and strong late. Top two player. Race 11 No. 2 Ronnie Ranger and No. 7 Ninja Fun The 2 will go fast as usual here and if she gets the arm that should be it. Just needs to clear the red early. The 7 is the other speed element in this and she races well here. Look for her to step. Can win. Race 12 No. 4 Surprised Fun and No. 5 Adventure Queen The 4 is very fast when she’s on but equally enigmatic. If she leads again that will be it. The 5 can capitalise on a clear early run here and she will go close against these. Gets the drag over. SANDOWN PARK The Cranbourne Cup heats (races 4 through 10) highlight tonight’s meeting. We are taking a look a top 2 chances in each race on the 12 event card. Race 1 No. 7 Misty Black and No. 4 Aston Sunset Race 2 No. 7 Aston Michigan and No. 6 Dewanna Burger Race 3 No. 2 Zipping Lincoln and No. 1 Black Sail Race 4 No. 4 Dragon Inn and No. 7 Akina Jack Race 5 No. 2 Mutli Matt and No. 8 Trending Yale Race 6 No. 4 Andre Bale and No. 1 Baby Jaycee Race 7 No. 5 Kai Bale and No. 1 Fred Rose Race 8 No. 2 Launch Code and No. 7 Shima Shadow Race 9 No. Shima Current and No. 2 Transponder Race 10 No. 7 Mepunga Smokey and No. 8 Trending Zari Race 11 No. 4 Cawbourne Domino and No. 7 Here Comes Milli Race 12 No. 5 Hamblin Bale and No. 2 Spring Gonzales
