Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 12, 2023October 12, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 1 No. 8 Dandalup Ruby Copped a check last week in similar company but still rallied to run 2nd. The room box 8 gives her could be the telling factor here and looks a great each way play in this. Should go well. Race 4 No. 5 Petite Parton and No. 6 Unlimited Gas This easier than recent starts for the 5. Needs her best step but is capable when she shows her speed and can surprise here. The 6 also gets in well here and he will work into this strongly. Consistent from all draws and presents as a main threat. Race 6 No. 3 Harley Monelli Super win last time when descending from the back to run over them late in good time. Well boxed to again push into a spot up the back and can offer a similar effort to at least hit the frame. Each way prospects solid. Race 8 No. 3 Venetian and No. 1 Global Plan The 3 is taking his time getting into things lately but his back end strength and good railing ability puts him in winning positions. That should happen again here. Don’t dismiss the 1 entirely. He has actually been racing harder dogs than this and while he needs first turn luck, he could run into this late at the odds. Easiest he’s faced for a while. Race 9 No. 6 Adventure Queen The box is the only thing stopping her here. Drops out of grade 4 company to this 5/6 and if she begins well and gets over early, this is over. Best dog in the race and start critical but that’s all she needs to nail to win. Race 10 No. 5 Athena Girl and No. 6 Ronnie Ranger The 5 is racing better than it looks. Likes racing here and only needs to offset this draw to give a sight. Hits the line well here. The 6 will fire out and needs to be in front solo at the first turn. Should this occur then they will struggle to catch her. Good when right. SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 4 Aston Sunset Her form-line is much stronger than it looks and she is a top two show here. Stuck on well to Zoha Bale at Sale a few starts back and wasn’t far off last time. Small field suits and can stun these for a top two hope. Race 5 No. 3 Shima Deb Can take a little bit to get into her work but has a super gear change up the back and big run home. Draw is good here and the map will see her present earlier this time. Very hard to hold out. Race 8 No. 3 Professor Snitch and No. 2 Akina Jack The 3 is a weapon who can lead or come from back. Will get there quickly and she’s very strong on the way home. The 2 will just keep finding the line. Good in a field and he starts his work through the pen and sustains it. Look for him to keep coming here. Market Market
