Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 29, 2024June 29, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 4 Better Call Even effort through the week but expect him to benefit from that and go much better there. Has a 27.5 in him and probably goes better so the small field will suit. Top two prospect. Race 3 No. 1 First Look and No. 7 Gouda Monelli The 1 looks awfully hard to stop here. Super run through the week when making sustained ground home and gets the plum draw here this time. A repeat will see him win. The 7 lacks dash but gets into his work strongly through the top and hits the line hard. Any trouble here and he will capitalise with a strong finish and hit the frame. Race 6 No. 3 Pudding Monelli and No. 2 Shima Dream I don’t know why I’m doing this with the 3 again. I suppose I don’t want to be on the sidelines when he decides to win. If his last few runs are anything to go by he really should be getting it done here. Massive motor and just needs to commit late. The 2 will run a cheeky race, especially if she finds the arm. Good at Northam last time and has a lot of ability. Will take some catching if she steps. Race 7 No. 2 Sand Cruiser and No. 3 Touch Of Tommy The 2 is a chance here if gets the start right. A few runs back from a spell now, he has the ability to lead all the way. Missed the start last time and never got a shot but he is boxed to get the arm here if he hops out better. The 3 could run a race. Has some talent and while he can be a little awkward in a field, he will muster up fast and give himself every chance. Race 9 No. 6 Stylish In Black Capable sprinter who has been out of sorts her last few but it has been in very hard company. Has won in town and goes just as well here, she needs to step quickly and get into up the back where she keeps finding the line. Clear run and she’s an EW chance. Race 10 No. 2 Sunset Comanche Has taken to this staying caper with force. He will be short but they will have to knock him down to beat him. He’s the one and if all things are equal, he decimates these. Race 11 No. 6 Coco Shimmer and No. 2 Pepper Grinder The 6 is a chance to find the arm in this. She would need to but her last few efforts have had good runs in them over the distance and she will be ready to go well here. The 2 is the clear danger. If she’s close to the back they will all have trouble holding her out. Northam runs have been excellent and she’s the one to beat with any luck. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 5 Cabao Opal and No. 1 Raven Parrot Race 4 No. 2 Ella’s Babe Race 5 No. 9 Shake And Bake and No. 8 Raya Star Race 6 No. 2 Follow the Band and No. 5 Cabao Lapis Race 7 No. 5 Knockout Norm and No. 6 Pommel Boy Race 9 No. 7 Lanfranco and No. 4 Stella Girl Race 10 No. 5 Granny Roses Race 11 No. 3 Wren Bale Race 12 No. 1 Idyllic Luther WENTWORTH PARK Race 1 No. 4 Zadie Bale Race 5 No. 2 Zipping Kansas Race 6 No. 2 Might Have Been and No. 7 Gets Late Early Market Market
