Two runs back was good making late ground in fast time at Cannington and the extra distance here only helps. EW spec for a top two finish. Race 3 No. 4 Acing Kuna and No. 8 Timon Lane The 4 was superb last week over this track and trip and a repeat sees her go very close. Kept taking ground off the leader who is hard to mow down but she never shirked the task. Improves again here and is a top show. The 8 has his box and made good ground last week first go here. Took a bit to wind up but will improve as well and could run into this late with room to operate. Race 4 No. 2 Penny Magic Classy staying bitch who always puts herself in her races. Can lead or come from behind and she will settle up forward here and keep sustaining a strong run home. Placed all 3 runs track and trip and will go close again. Race 8 No. 8 Distribution and No. 7 Two Ronnie’s The 8 was excellent last time out. While the winner didn’t run any time, he made strong, sustained ground to just go under and he looks ready now. Improved box manners wouldn’t hurt his chances either. The 7 is the clear threat and he races well here. Can show terrific muster and he’s hard to mow down when he gets the arm. Hard to stop. Race 9 No. 2 Daddy’s Girl Last chance here. Small field suits perfectly but she has to do something here or she simply isn’t enjoying Mandurah. Could be looking for Northam now but this will tell us as she can put these away at her best easily. Trust needed but she can win if she turns up this time.
