Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 17, 2024February 17, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 8 Vander Harley Racing in great form now and will be suited by the smaller field. Getting up there early and her strength sees her break 30 with clear running. Race 4 No. 8 No Limit Needed Speed crossing from outside gives her a cart over here and she’s not racing that badly. Could land handy and is seeing the trip out as well as she ever has. EW spec on her. Race 5 No. 6 Ghost Emoji and No. 4 Sneaky Emoji The 6 is a weapon. Not badly boxed and can drop sensational sections when given room to operate. Will be charging into this. The 4 has a similar style and profile and he too can deliver good splits up the back and home. He’s a threat with first turn luck. Race 6 No. 2 Cubit Monelli and No. 3 Shy Emoji The 2 is trialling the clock to pieces presently and only has to get some sort of look at the arm to put these in bed early. Flying machine. The 3 is a sneaky place hope at least and she could surprise late in the race here. Runs on really strongly and will close off into the placings with luck. Race 7 – Trifecta 1,2,4 Just box these 3 runners and you will go very close to nailing the trifecta. They standout here and the fav isnt assured of winning and even though he should, the other two will fill the placings with even luck. Race 8 No. 2 Spider Venom Boxed to give another great sight. Rails well and a few wide runners and leaders who will not get their way. Just needs to hold his spot while the 3 and 4 push up the track with their early toe and he can follow the rest through. EW player at least. Race 9 No. 2 Wise Abalone Huge effort last time when making up big ground over this track and trip. Draw puts him right in this and will be one of the better EW shows of the card. Can win. Race 11 No. 8 Hurricane Taylor Airborne and just swishes over here behind or even crossing the 2. That will be it then and he will give them far too much to catch. Box is ok for him and he puts these away with his trademark step at box rise. WENTWORTH PARK Race 4 No. 4 Emgrand Centre Prolific place getter around here and while he lacks early toe, he runs home well and should get a fence spot through the first turn. Hard to hold out on the EW basis. Race 6 No. 4 Tiggerlong Ruby Her form isn’t flash but she’s racing harder opposition and will go better here. Comes out of a Bulli Gold cup heat and has a very good record here. Strong home and can figure. Race 8 No. 8 Taw General Knows this place backwards. Boxes to skate down out wide and settle up there and he can get under 30 with clear air. He will be hard to stop in this and looks the one. THE MEADOWS 2 Heats of the Fanta Bale stayers and 4 semis of the Australian Cup highlight the card at The Meadows. We isolate the top chances in each race tonight. Race 3 No. 7 Moraine Suzie, No. 6 Zulu Blast and No. 2 Lena Jinx These 3 set to dominate here. Will go close to filling the placings. Race 4 No. 3 Palawa King and No. 7 Zoha Bale The 3 ridiculous last week and the 7 the clear danger. Race 5 No. 7 Mepunga Reward and No. 6 Alpha Zulu The 7 is a great EW bet here while the 6 was superb last week and can figure on the save. Race 6 No. 2 Orli Bale and No. 1 Tim Zoo The 2 is the best smokie of the night and a place heavy bird with any luck. The 1 clearly the dog to beat. Race 7 No. 2 Explicit, No. 3 Piscopo Bale and No. 6 Isles Entity The 2 gets it done as expected here off the good draw but both the 3 and 6 can stun on the EW basis if he makes an error and at least place if he doesn’t. Race 8 No. 1 Schillaci, No. 8 Fabs Vegetable and No. 4 Cain Bale The 1 will get a chance off the draw, the 4 only has to offset the box to get into it and the 8 will capitalise on any trouble that could come here. Race 9 No. 7 Aston Costello and No. 6 Succeed The 7 can win if he gets into the quickly and he can. The 6 won’t go past the leaders but is faster than these and will place at least and you can get black odds about that. Race 12 No. 1 Mepunga Luna and No. 3 Xile Bale The 1 is boxed to win and she’s ready now. The 3 will work home hard and can place at least. Market Market
