Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 24, 2023June 24, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 5 Superman Keeping and No. 4 Cawbourne Roses The Paradise Street final and almost every dog has a chance. These two are at odds and can run huge races. The 4 will get up there early and she sticks on strongly while the 5 is best served missing the start and finding the fence to charge home. Place heavy both dogs and they can win with the right luck early. Race 7 No. 1 Out Max Superb win last week and goes even better again here. Track was off as a blown light globe and he was in the steadiest part of it yet still went low 35. Drives up again here along the fence and a better track will see him go much quicker and be very hard to catch here. Great show. Race 9 No. 1 Get Out and No. 7 Sunset Louie The 1 could sneak under the radar somewhat here. His run was much better than it looked last week. Made a few fast runs but met traffic and never really got the clear run he needed late. Can step better now and hold a spot early. The 7 will surprise here. He’s going much better than most realise and the small field and vacant box inside means he gets his beloved rail quickly. Will run home well. Race 10 No. 1 Rowdy Bourbski Another who went better than it looked last week over this trip. Pushed back early and made fair ground considering and he can hold up here with a clean step against easier company and give a huge sight. This is his chance now. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 1 Wrangler Jane and No. 7 Jigglypuff The 1 doesn’t win many but she’s strong and constantly smashes the line. Can land closer here and will be hard to hold out. The 7 can win easily if she stops running into dogs. That’s her biggest issue and she waits too long for runs to appear that good dogs don’t give. This is much easier though so won’t meet the same issues here with steadier opposition. Race 9 No. 4 Kanji Tank This big boy goes well around here and will again be looking his first turn run to start his big middle and last section home. Winds up well and hits the frame consistently here and will again be looking to descend late. Coming off a strong Bendigo win and can figure. Race 10 No. 8 Gabby’s Gyros Steps out of Captain Larry form and that’s very strong for a race like this. Box is good and she has broken 30 here in defeat so she simply faster than these. Only has to get over cleanly and she’s the one to stop. WENTWORTH PARK Race 1 No. 7 Cumbria Miss Absolutely poleaxed last time at the first turn off the same draw and never got into it. Giving her another chance here and while she still hasn’t won at the track, this is very winnable for her and good first turn is all she needs to run home into the picture. Race 5 No. 4 Zipping Sabrina Came out running last time and have nothing else a chance going blistering time. Doesn’t always do that but she has no issues coming from off the arm either and nothing will run a strong last section. Only has to offset the box again to win. Race 7 No. 7 Wyndra All Class Flying!! Boxed to perfection here and will rush up out wide and out and on the arm or close to it. Was huge at Albion Park and even bigger at Dubbo 3 starts back and she is set to run a monster here. Won’t miss the frame with her usual clean step. Market Market
