Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 14, 2023October 14, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 6 Inside Scoop and No. 4 Raised The 4 comes off a let up. Big engine when right and can be right behind the 1 and 2 at the first turn. The 6 will muster up hard as well and will present earlier this time. Strong home as well. Race 3 No. 4 Disco Trixie and No. 5 Dusty Deluxe The 4 will improve a stack here and can land closer this week. Stays all day and will be running home hard. The 5 is ready after two strong efforts in harder company. Surprised he isn’t much shorter. Can win here. Race 4 No. 3 Saige Tenniele and No. 2 Spider Venom The 3 was a silly opening quote. Only needs first turn luck to be a threat. The 2 is a huge smokie in this. If he holds his early spot he will give these a scare. Don’t dismiss him. Race 5 No. 4 King Tommy Mapped to stay out of trouble and will get into his work through the pen and up the back. One out is the best and fastest dog in the race lack of early dash notwithstanding so the small field perfect. Race 6 No. 2 Elite Machine Drawn to lead all the way or at least muster to the front. That should be it if he grabs the arm solo. Too good for these at his best. Race 8 No. 2 Traver’s Mania Best smokie of the night. Can punch up behind the red and hold his fence spot and will make a fast run up the back to present as a threat on the way home. Race 11 No. 8 Pepper Grinder Broke her maiden in outstanding fashion last start and the step up in trip is exactly what she needs now. Sustains a big run home and looks suited here. Race 12 No. 4 Sudden Rain Running out of chances but she is more than capable of spearing out and running time. Box isn’t bad and priced to play but needs to produce now. THE MEADOWS Race 4 No. 3 Serena Bale Drops back from the 600 and that’s ideal here. She’s done this before with success and will be running into this late. Top two player. Race 6 No. 8 Jackpot Joan Will try and swish over again and while she’s not at her absolute top, she’s close and will give a sight if she crosses solo to the arm here. Race 7 No. 6 Korda He’s ready after his last two back from a spell. Will step and roll across to a forward spot and if he leads that should be it. Ready to strike now. Race 10 No. 3 Aston Michigan Good dog when given room to operate. He gets that here. Unleashes up the back and has been racing harder grade than this. This is his chance now. Great show. Race 11 No. 6 Scott Me Gets back but will appreciate coming out if top grade and dropping right back. Can take a bit to wind up but has a booming last section when wound up. Watch for him late.
