NORTHAM

Race 4 No. 1 Vegas City and No. 8 Hello I’m Bobby

Only 2 hopes on exposed form. The 1 has his box here and can come out to drive up and hold the arm. Nothing runs him down if he turns for home in front. The 8 gets a good grade drop and the clear danger. Well drawn here and will challenge early if he steps. They should fight it out.

Race 5 No. 7 No Payout

Another who gets a substantial grade drop here for May. Her last four runs were won by dogs who would lap this field so she gets her best chance to bounce back here. Draw isn’t her best but she can keep driving through gaps and hit the frame here with any clear luck.

Race 7 No. 1 Roll With It

Well not sure where the $1.80 opening quote came from. He is a genuine $1.20 shot here at his best. Box 1 not all together suitable as he doesn’t mind the middle of the track but let’s be real here, there are grade drops and then there is this. Absolutely no excuse. None. Should lead all the way or he simply hasn’t turned up. He usually does and the only way they beat him is at the start. If they let him muster up and run, he will see them next in the wash bay. If there is a downside, its the box and lack of confidence but he should get it done. 3 and 8 the only ones that can upset him.

Race 8 No. 2 Herekino Fun and No. 4 Fernando Fury

A couple of the usual suspects here for the smokie’s play. A few of these will go at it to the first turn and there could be some trouble here. These two pipe smokers just need to sit and wait while staying out of the early battle. Both can run on over this short trip for some place heavy work with any luck.

Race 9 No. 8 Because Of You

There comes a time in every dogs racing career where they line up in a race so low in depth and quality that you can’t give them another go if they get beat. That’s this bloke and this is that race. Absolutely no excuses against these, none. Boxed where where he wants to be and has the pace to roll to the top again. If he gets headed early and doesn’t lead or gets run over here, he should sadly, never grace another ticket again. Ludicrous price about a dog who is run into Fortified Mack, All Over Katie etc.

Race 10 No. 8 Sheriff’s Way and No. 7 Madison Keys

Thought the 8 might have been a price here but they have kept her safe and rightly so. Gets her box now and a short freshen should see the best of her early pace which might see her cross here. Capable and has form around stronger company. The 7 is always thereabouts here and she too will dart up out wide. Sustains her run home and will take some stopping if she gets the arm or close to it. Both big shows.

Race 11 No. 1 West On Whistle and No. 6 Mr Dusty

The 1 will step here and go fast for the arm. Has a superb record off the red and led throughout here two starts ago in good time for her grade. No pace outside here and she could lead these a very long way. The 6 is having his 2nd run for Damo now and he has very strong city form. Was ok first up here last week and will find plenty off that look at the track. Box his only issue but can offset it.

Race 12 No. 5 Zipping Esme

The start will decide her race. Her very best will cannonball out and straight over to the fence and the arm and from there, she wouldn’t be caught. Not as adept coming from behind so needs to be on song at box rise. That’s where this is won or lost for her. Has the right dogs drawn each side so every chance here.
