Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on March 25, 2024March 25, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 8 In Her Mood Overcame a slow start to capitalise on mid race trouble and run 2nd in steady time last week. Can begin better than that and will be looking to sweep into this again. EW prospects. Race 5 No. 3 Girls Like You and No. 7 Pea Pettigrew The 3 landed some good bets on cup night with an all the way victory here. 5.53 early might lead this again and makes her hard to catch once more. The 7 is the best dog in this and needs a good step to feature. Has led all the way off this box previously so knows how to get it done. Threat here. Race 6 No. 8 Sunset Louie and No. 7 Nifty Ned The 8 has daylight on these but he’s drawn on the wrong side of the track which levels things up a bit. Not sure that will stop him however. If he finds the fence early and is close, then it’s time and margins. The 7 will appreciate the step up in trip and while the corner start isn’t ideal, he could run into this if he offsets the draw early and gets himself there quickly. Save EW on him. Race 7 No. 5 Renegade Cochise Missile who is resuming from a let up. Reportedly went sub 16 in a trial here last week and while that’s expected from him, he can get that down even more. Has blistering early pace and the start his only issue as he can miss it from time to time. Clear run though and he wins. Race 8 No. 3 Big Girl Kiki and No. 8 Son Of Frankie The 3 might be over the odds here. Has won 2 of her last 3 here track and trip and drawn to get a nice run. Will keep coming and can hit the frame. The 8 continues to race well and handles the wide draws fine. Sticks on strongly from any spot and just needs to get around early into a striking position. Major contender. Race 9 No. 4 Because Of You This is his chance now. Been going ok in better races and this is easy as he’s seen in some time. Steps well and sticks on strongly and no surprise to see him go very close here. Ignore his form, this is where he figures with any luck at all. Race 10 No. 8 Victim Of Desire and No. 6 Pyroclasm The 8 is racing out of her skin for May Leach who is having a good run with the lower grade dogs in town at the moment. This one has some speed and knows her way around where and will be a price. The 6 only has to lead to win. Best dog in the race and while the trip is short of her best, she can come out and put this to bed quickly. Take on trust she will spear out. Race 12 No. 2 Simone Keeping Almost in a winning spot last time when poleaxed and put out of the race. Has had 2 months off since and a kennel change and will be ready to go now. Shows very good dash off the mat and boxed to lead again here and that won’t see her caught if she does. Big threat here. Market Market
