Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on December 4, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 7 Lenny Coaster and No. 6 Prince Capri Looking for a blowout result here. The 7 missed it off the red last week but forgiving that and giving her one more go against these. She can surprise if she gets out early and running. The 6 will probe for a run into the back but he finishes strongly and has raced tougher opposition than this. Each way for both here and they can both win with luck. Race 3 No. 3 Smirch Birch and No. 6 Unlimited Gas The 3 goes to turn the tables on his rival from last start in the 6. The box draw flips around here with the 3 getting the advantage this time and he has the early speed to capitalise. One mistake though and the 6 will pounce. He doesn’t have to lead and will make his run up the back and keep coming. Both strong hopes here again. Race 4 No. 4 Pea Pettigrew and No. 6 Summer Of Love There are only three hopes. The 4 only has to step and lead then he cant go under here. He is simply too good for them unless he makes an omelette of the start and finds trouble. That would give the other fav a chance to cross but she would need to lead too for her to score. If the unbelievable happens and neither leads, the 6 is the sneaky threat. Better than her form shows, she is well drawn wide and can do something here. 4 looks to have panels on these at his best however. Race 9 No. 4 Solid Tank Reckon the 4 can give these some business if he hops out better today. No luck last week when he missed it slightly but he’s got a sub 16 in him and his draw is fine here with what’s around him. If he can find the top at all, he will smoke these at a price. Can at least hit the frame. Race 10 No. 1 Ash The Flash Best smokie of the night. Walked out off this box last week then stopped cold when recovering to make her fence run. Still rocketed home behind the place-getters to push through the middle late. Can usually step better and she cuts loose quickly over this short trip better than most think. Wide runners in this only help now. Can frighten these like a haunted house if she begins. Great each way show as she will be a huge price. Market Market
