Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 28, 2024June 28, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 4 Power Up Yoshi and No. 3 Jacoby Bale The 4 was dominant earlier this week off the outside draw. Put them away late and showed some early dash. He’s ready to go again. The 3 was good in the same race and continues to improve here. Will show up early and hard to catch if he leads. Race 3 No. 7 Opal Deluxe and No. 8 Criss Cross Lass Looking for the leader here with the 7 darting across and taking up the running if she steps her usual best. Hard to catch but she will give the 8 a cart over as well and she is arguably the better dog. Can run time and will look the winner at some stage if she fires out. Race 4 No. 4 All About Coal and No. 8 Blessed Doll Last chance for the 4. He can beat these dogs and has beaten them. A good step will see him punch for the arm and that would be it. The 8 can surprise in this. Been racing tougher stayers and while she takes a bit to get going, I’m not sure she is going all that bad. Keep her safe. Race 5 No. 7 Clifton Thayne Has ridiculous talent but already showing signs of wizardry with his tricks. Puts fast mid race runs in but still learning about closing his races out. The step up in trip here can only help him find the arm a little sooner if he runs into it and he will give a sight if he puts in. Race 6 No. 3 Irving Bale and No. 6 Spider Venom The 3 was an outstanding debut in WA last week. Placed in a very hard race and copped a check yet still kept coming. He goes close here. The 6 was a much better effort last week. Looked like hitting the frame when tightened for room against the fence late and just missing out. Looks for the fence again and works home hard. EW for him. Race 7 No. 8 Sunset Tyson Very unlucky last week when making a fast run through the turn only to be stood up cold and checked out of it. Would have been in the finish and he now gets the room to operate out wide and muster into this. Will take some stopping this week. Race 8 No. 6 Barbecue Man and No. 5 Bunji Man Winter sprint final. The 6 was massive in his heat. He is absolutely airborne this preparation and only has to miss the 7 early to get into a spot and be in the finish. The 5 trialled well into his heat and showed up again with a strong effort along the fence. Capable city sprinter who will look to step quickly and get into it early so he can sustain that good run home and hit the frame at a price. Race 9 No. 3 Lip Tricks Last chance. Has been copping bad checks in her races but she gets the best map here and only has to find the fence early when the wider runners show pace and race mid track. A clear run will show us what she’s got and she is a good EW play here. Race 10 No. 6 Miss Vivas Steps up to the 400 now and should be able to spear up out wide and put herself in this early. Has run good time in the past and is going well enough to win this if she steps her best. Handles wide boxes and can win. Market Market
