Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 21, 2024June 21, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 10 All About Garnet Keep extremely safe if she gains a start, especially from an inside draw. Will be hard to stop if she lines up here. Race 2 No. 6 Bluey Brann Strong chance here if he can just offset the sticky box. Has good pace so box rise critical here. Northam form is good and the move back here a plus. Will be hard to stop if he gets any room at all. Race 4 No. 1 All About Coal While box 1 isn’t his go and he wants to get outside dogs, the small field and the fact he could land close to the lead here means it shouldn’t matter. Took a while to wind up last week but he can get into things quicker than that in his races and he will threaten in this with a good step. If he finds the arm at any stage, this is over. Race 5 No. 8 Sunset Callisto and No. 7 Tick Tick Tick A couple at odds here. The 8 could muster up out wide here and if he lands close enough, he will give these a bit to think about in the run home. As will the 7 who is probably a level below this but he hits the line hard and this has mess written on the map. He could easily hit the frame at odds. Both EW speculators in this. Race 6 No. 8 Lil Bit Twisted and No. 5 Spider Venom The 8 perfectly housed here on the outside. Stays a wide line and that’s when he does his best work in the clear outside dogs. A good step and push up early and he will keep coming late. The 5 is a massive price smokie. Trip is better here and he will play the fence for luck. Still not yet taken to Mandurah but he will go better this time with first turn room on the fence to open up and give him a chance to run home. Race 7 No. 3 Daddy’s Girl and No. 7 Tweak Freak I don’t know why I’m giving this 3 another chance after sacking it last week but I kept coming back to her over this short trip and the fact it could be run for her to get into it late. We would want doubles to get involved but she is worth one more crack with the step back in distance. The 7 will try and dash up out wide and she is such a good honest dog who sticks on no matter what. Will be prominent and the trip is the least of her worries. Close enough turning and she’s in the finish here. Race 8 No. 1 Sunset Mirage and No. 7 Barbecue Man The 1 has a great inside box record and goes well at this track. Good effort behind the kennel mate last week and boxed to be in the finish. The 7 has an engine and if he comes out and gets up there early, good luck stopping him late. Has come back enormous and it’s only the box that stops him getting into this but he’s too good to ignore and he knows how to win from anywhere. Major threat. Race 10 No. 1 Kuro and No. 4 Leclerc The 1 finally gets the good draw and he will take no end of stopping here. Some big runs off bad draws already around this track and trip and he will love this inside box. The 4 was poleaxed last week after stepping well. Never in it and forget that. Can actually go well here and is a little under rated. Keep safe here. Race 11 No. 3 Cut Model and No. 4 Fred Flint Looking for the leader. The 3 goes fast and while the last bit can test, she might sneak away here with a clean getaway. Expect the 4 to improve as well. Has good muster and does his best work in front. Needs to step well here but he’s not out of it. Market Market
