Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 26, 2024January 29, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 5 Under She Goes and No. 2 All Over Kite The 5 was a superb run last week when all but toppling the fav when trying to lead her. Stuck on well and she can spear on to the arm here. Going well since the kennel change and very hard to stop here. The 2 will surprise and gets a gun map. She needs her best step but does run time when she gets out cleanly and gets up there. Worth thought for her. Race 4 No. 2 Disco Daisy and No. 1 Start Up Ando The Express Stake final. I won’t change my mind from our CTC podcast here. I’m giving the 2 one last chance to handle this first turn. There is every hope she finds the arm here and finds it solo. If she can stay closer in rounding that first turn, we will see a very different dog. Can spear out here and give these an awful lot to catch. The 1 will benefit from the room he will be afforded and he is starting to take runs under dogs where he once wouldn’t. He has a surprisingly good record off box 1 and he could be poised to strike here. The 5 has a horror map and needs a miracle run, the 8 is a huge show but he still has to muster up and there is speed here. The 6 will try and cross and the 3 is racing as well as ever and could surprise if he steps. The 4 will look for gaps and trouble and be strong late as will the 7. Great edition of this race. Race 5 No. 3 Waffles Monelli The 3 was desperately unlucky not to cross last Friday. Almost got there before the red punched under him and put him out of business. He will go close to leading here. That then sees him very hard to catch. Race 7 No. 1 Jumpin’ Jules She will be a price and needs a miracle to beat this fav but she can absolutely step and get up there to hold a spot to hit the frame. Has a very strong form line prior to the spell and can sprint out of her skin fresh. Don’t ignore her for the placings. Race 9 No. 8 Extreme Rock Well boxed and one last chance to show something. Can muster up and hold a high line and he can sweep home strongly in this especially if he’s close. Should he not to do that in this then he’s clearly gone off and will be left for a while. Can bounce back though and trusting he will and still has something to offer. Race 10 No. 1 Baby Riccardo The box. That’s what will be the difference here. It would have been last week too had the dog in box 2 not tripped him up just as they left the mat. He’s a different dog when he draws the inside and expect him to hunt up here and try to hold the front. If he does, this is over. Race 11 No. 2 Ash The Flash What a great little campaigner she is. Consistently coming out and giving her all and frequents the frame more often than not. Will fly out again and find the fence and if she can hold the arm, that’s check and mate. Can come from behind so that’s no concern either. Huge each way show. Race 12 No. 4 Jelly Monelli Disappointed last week when making no impact. With the inevitable scratching of Molotov Boy, that makes her job much easier now and will be able to get into it sooner. Will descend quickly once balanced up and launches late in the straight. Gets her chance. TRARALGON Race 8 No. 3 Salad Dodger and No. 6 Pass The Buck Traralgon Cup final. The 3 was enormous in his heat and moves to a very winnable draw now with a great map. Just needs to show a little more dash but he can certainly come from off the arm. Great each way show. Save the kennel mate in 6. One of the bigger heat wins when looking gone but found his way to the fence then pounced late. Will again take all sorts of holding out. Market Market
