Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on December 8, 2023December 8, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 6 Our Aim First start here last week with a bang going a very fast 17.09. Now he’s had a look at the circuit, any improvement will see him win again if he offsets the tricky box. Looks the one if he repeats last week. Race 2 No. 5 Go Go Slash and No. 8 West On Boomer Looking for a blowout here with the 5. Looks better suited to a straight start at this stage and the 400m trip and he’s worth a spec at the big double figure quote. The 8 has a blistering turn of foot and is well boxed out wide. Comes off an all the way win last week off the wide draw and a repeat will see him in the finish once again. Race 3 No. 1 Cheetah Magic and No. 7 Westdale Opal Again looking for a couple at odds in this winnable affair. The 1 was quite good last start off a middle draw in the small field and can go well off the inside box this time. The 7 was steady last week when never getting into it off the pink. Giving her another chance as she’s gone good time at Cannington and went well here two starts to go finding the line late. Can improve this time. Race 4 No. 4 Cawbourne Roses and No. 6 Poppa Monno A couple having their first start here at Mandurah and they look suited to the track and trip. The 4 looks tailor made for this circuit and she only has to step and find a prominent position to be there at the end. If she handles the track she’s a huge threat. As is the 6 who will be another to enjoy the roomy surrounds of this track. Can take a bit to wind up but will love the back straight to get into full flight and be charging home over this trip of 652m which looks ideal for him. Both can give this fav plenty to think about. Race 5 No. 3 Redhead Rider and No. 6 Joe The Lion The 3 did enough his last two starts here to be a threat this time. Usually hops out fast and will put himself in this quickly. Looks to get his chance now with the draw and map. If the speedsters do come together then Joey out in 6 will chime in late. Hits the line well and will be running into this strongly and worth a place heavy spec. Race 6 No. 8 Shian Lani and No. 5 Sammy Can Browse A couple here who can suprise. The 8 will give a great sight if she spears out here and crosses. Does her best work on the arm and can run time. Start critical but enjoys the wide box. The 5 is the thorn in everyone’s side here. She steps fast most days over these longer trips and can be hard to catch. Another who will give a great show on the arm if she gets it. Both can do something with clean steps here. Race 7 No. 6 Extreme Rock Racing well and gets his chance here. Placed behind a smart one last week and didn’t let him get away in the end. That was after a good win the start prior. Ready to win again. Race 8 No. 4 My Anarchy Boy and No. 5 Aquila The 4 has panels on these. The box and the start the only thing he has to get right and he will give these the business. He’s just faster than these so only beats himself at box rise if at all. The 5 can go better this week. She was below par in a steady race last week when not coming on like she could have late. Forgiving that and she can improve here. Each way for her. Race 9 No. 2 Start Up Ando If he doesn’t knock this fav over, he can at least run 2nd. He was super last week running over a dog who normally doesn’t get run down. Looked to enjoy the circuit much better than Cannington and will find a lot more this week. Top two player. Race 10 No. 1 I’m Upstairs and No. 4 Notorious Harada The 1 is close and shouldn’t be dismissed here. Will land closer this week off the box and he can stick on over this trip better than most think. Each Way go here. The 4 is ready to win and her box manners are back on song. Will spear out and if she holds the arm this time, she will go all the way. Looks a great show now. Market Market
