Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on November 3, 2023November 3, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 6 Eclipsing Fun Winnable affair here and gee she’s gets in well at the grades considering the dogs she’s been racing. Can step and show pace and hard to get past when she leads. Good show here. Race 2 No. 1 West On Cobra A reasonable step is all that’s required here. Has a good record off the red and while he can take a bit to muster, he should drive up soon enough to be a huge threat on the way home. Boxed to give something. Race 3 No. 8 Perfect Lola and No. 7 Sailor Jim The 8 is well drawn here and she has talent. Can be tardy early but can also get a sweep into this up the back. The 7 will go forward as well and he’s probably better than these but needs to be there early. A bit hit and cold but has talent. Both can offer something here. Race 4 No. 3 Small Demeanour He’s an enigmatic customer this bloke. Looks very good one week and an eggplant the next. Back to the straight start a plus though and can accelerate when he’s on. Bank on him nailing the jump here. Race 5 No. 7 Messed Up Mary and No. 8 Circle The Sea The 7 is a huge hope here after a super run last start. Don’t mind her off the track either and she’s quite under rated. Will keep coming here. The 8 will rush up early and if he gets a solo arm, would take a bit to mow down. Start important for him. The 7 a great show at odds. Race 7 No. 3 Sudden Rain Monster run last week. Should have won. Gets an all time map here and will only have to hold the spot behind the leaders into the back to see her not miss the frame. Each way bird with a clear run and can win. Best bet just to hit the frame. Race 9 No. 6 Wild Amigo and No. 8 Superman Keeping The 6 was excellent last time after knuckling over at box rise. Made ground along the fence to score and can step better than that. Could cross here with the 5 giving him a cart. The 8 was ok first up but much fitter this time and don’t dismiss the old stayer. Can still run into this with first turn luck and will go better this time. Race 10 No. 4 Post The Zipper and No. 3 Calico Joe The 4 stepped too well last week and stuck on wide but well. Gets a great off speed run here as the only dog not able to lead. Runs home well. The 3 was good and can go much faster than what he did. Will need his best step but he’s better than what people think and can stun these. Race 11 No. 6 Joe The Lion Several dogs go fast early here. One of them isn’t Joe. He will sit off and make his run through the middle section and a few of these will drop off when they can’t lead. Watch for him to charge into this late. Market Market
