Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 30, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 3 Pennywise and No. 4 Westdale Ryker The 3 looks the one here with the perfect draw. Unlucky not to cross in a much harder race last week. Only has to step and stay clear to win. The 4 was good last start and may be worth a save. Hits the line well and small field suits big time. Win bet 3 and EW save 4. Race 4 No. 1 Scout About and No. 6 Throttle Christine Robartson runners stifle this race with 5 runners. The 1 gets a good draw for the very first time. Has terrific acceleration and will lead here. Set to break 30 and a very promising type. The kennel mate in 6 is by far the best dog in the race but he fell last start and trust is needed here. If he took no harm from that then he’s a huge chance. Race 7 No. 5 Zulu Wahash and No. 4 West On Fever The Sprinters final. The 5 is the rank outsider at $21 but he will shake the life out of this if given a clean run into the back. He was superb in his heat making huge ground at his first look here. Gets over behind the speed then will go through the gears. Save on 4 who was good for us last week as well. Gets a similar run here and doesn’t have to lead. Will be thereabouts with any luck again. The 5 is the best bet though. Silly price and can give a tremendous sight at EW odds. Save on 4 EW as well. Race 8 No. 8 Poppa Monno and No. 4 Samba Monelli The 8 has opened at very backable odds here. Perfectly drawn as he will want to go around the field and if he lobs close, they won’t hold him out. The 4 is a smokie here and gets a nice map on the fence. Will be strong late and can run on. EW save on him. Race 9 No. 1 Fabian’s Gold and No. 5 Danielle Keeping The 1 is short enough but should lead these a long way. Was super last start over the 520m and can handle the step up. Will be hard to catch. If the 5 gets interested early, she is clearly the strongest dog. Will get back but the small field will allow her to get her chance. Race 10 No. 1 Roxy Vodka and No. 8 Chevy Nova The 1 is boxed to win and while she didn’t run much time winning last week, can go faster and is hard to run down when she leads. Gets that chance here again. The 8 will improve tonight at odds and worth a save. Slowly getting back to her better form, she can muster around quickly here and surprise. Main play 1 and save EW 8. THE MEADOWS Race 4 No. 1 Belle Violin Boxed to give this an almighty shake. Very promising type who will go through gears up the back and can run time. Only bad luck will stop him. Will go sub 30 on a good track. Race 8 No. 1 Kaheem Bale Another who has his box and once he sees daylight up the back, can unleash some big sections to get home. Loves the red box, the track and the trip. EW bird here!! Race 12 No. 4 Who Told Shorty Promising type who was strong last start after no luck early. Has gone fast time at Sandown and getting better each start. Only has to offset the box to figure here. EW all day again here and won’t miss the podium with a clear run. WENTWORTH PARK Race 4 No. 6 Ariarne Bale VIC visitor who has a stack of talent. If she handles the track, she is better than these. Has raced in some quality events back home against good dogs. Just needs to get around this draw and get to the fence then she will cut loose. Race 7 No. 5 Grim Madara Bounced out quickly last week to give them a drubbing. Usually comes from back so only has to navigate a passage again to win. Will be smashing the line and won’t miss the podium if they leave him alone. Race 8 No. 1 Quinlan Bale Great show off the draw. Yet to see this circuit but he is a classy dog who has been racing against the better Vic dogs lately. Runs fast time when he gets momentum and was superb last start. Big overs and best bet!! EW price to boot. Market Market
