Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on October 23, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 8 Fearless One and No. 2 Amarillo Drive The 8 went well first go here and improves again now off the box. The 2 has seen the track a few times so won’t have any issues and goes fast after she steps. Both big shows. Race 6 No. 5 Cindy Doyle and No. 4 Princess Emmy Last chance the 5. She has talent but keeps finding trouble early. Clear run she wins but needs to produce here. The 4 threw it away last time. Can show pace and will be hard to catch if she leads clearly here or lands close. Race 7 No. 1 Emma Monelli and No. 2 Shayna Monelli The 1 gets her chance here. Steps fast and can hold the position to be hard to catch. The 2 is racing well and has a quick win here. Both dogs placed well with a slew of wide runners outside them and both a serious show. Race 8 No. 4 Global Light and No. 5 Theatre Of War Interesting with the 4 here. Any amount of talent but the step back to the 380m is a concern. If she turns up with her best though it shouldn’t matter. Will launch late. The 5 rarely misses the podium here and handles all boxes. Just needs a trouble free start and look into the back. Race 9 No. 2 Westdale Ryker and No. 7 Like You This sets up for the 2. The red will fly out but hasn’t seen this corner start and with the 8 charging over, it’s bound to be messy. The 2 can get the gaps and run into this. As can the 7 who only needs half an ounce of luck and has raced far better dogs lately. Race 10 No. 1 Heat Wave Well talk about boxed to get the run of the century. The notoriously wide running kennel mate in Box 2 not only gets wide but goes straight ahead at the first turn. The 1 only has to step her best and hold her spot. The map should do the rest. Race 11 No. 3 Whiskey On Rocks Becoming costly but this is her chance. Better boxed this time and can reel off the good sections. Clear run into the back all she needs and she can go from there. EW player. Race 12 No. 3 Jumpin’ Jazz and No. 7 Believin Blade A couple at odds who can do something here. The 3 can step and lead when she’s on and usually isn’t caught over this trip when that happens. The 7 simply doesn’t miss a place when he secures clear running here. Only needs a gap. Both EW shows. GAWLER Race 3 No. 5 Lady Luck and No. 2 Abernathy What a stupid, stupid price about the 5 here. Yes it’s a hot race and she got the sticky draw but she is no $51 shot and certainly won’t look like it if she steps her best and finds the arm. In fact if she does find it early, this is over. It’s what the bet is on for sure but she can spear out when she’s on and her run last week was super. The 2 is also a silly quote and he can slide through along the fence and be a chance at odds. Start critical for all of them here. Great sprint final. Race 6 No. 1 Radek Bale Only Kelsey Bale ran home quicker last week in the cup heats so this lot are in serious trouble if this bloke repeats that again. Steps up to the middle trip is the only reservation but has class on this lot and should be winning with any clear run at all. Race 6 No. 2 Top Quality and No. 4 Basil Brush Rose The Gawler Cup consolation. The 2 stiff as week old bread in his heat. Nothing but trouble before recovering to place and he looks set to go better here off a great draw. The 4 is a dog chaser and he got the lucky run through last week but it can happen again here and he did run time in defeat. Place heavy go again on the save. Race 7 No. 1 Strategise and No. 4 Universal Value The 1 is boxed to shake the life out of this. Goes much better around here and was good last week in a tough race. Will give a sight. The 4 is a smoky. Ran out of his skin in his cup heat and can surprise here. Under rated type who can hit the podium. Race 8 No. 4 Spring Phoebe and No. 7 Impress Us The 2022 Gawler Cup final. Great race and can go several ways. Looking for the kennel to hopefully continue a big night with the 4. She can sit right on the 2 here and has developed good strength about her. Superb last week in her heat and flying presently. Can give a huge sight if she steps her best. The 7 is the blowout. Took a Herculean performance to run him down last week and he can stun here if he crosses cleanly. Small EW save on him. Favourite in 3 awfully hard to beat. Broke the last section record in her heat and will charge home at a rate of knots. Might get too far back this time however and is short. 4 and 7 for us this year. Great race. Race 10 No. 2 Victa Kurt Looks the one here to get the gun map. Red comes out but shifts and the 2 only needs to slide up behind him to be too strong in the run home. Superb record here and can hit top 2 with little trouble and clean getaway. Race 12 No. 4 Sizzle And Shine A smoky play to take us out. She’s been going over the longer trip and can sprint well here. Just needs to step and offset the box early. Will be solid and hitting the line and can run a race EW if she brings her best. Market Market
