Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 3, 2022August 3, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 6 Tsar Bell He’s very short but he’s very good and Adam has him in absolute peak form at the moment heading into the National distance series. He’s been stepping better, getting into a striking position and unleashing the big last section that is putting his opposition away. Unless he does something silly, that should continue here tonight. Anchors any multi today. Race 7 No. 3 Big Boy Bundy and No. 7 Trent Monelli The 3 gets a much better draw this time and he had no luck last time when almost getting over into a nice spot. Can land much closer here and has a class edge on this field. The 7 is not going that bad and a win is not far off. He is a regular FFA customer who has good early speed and is hard to catch when he settles up on near the arm. Look for him to cross early here. Race 8 No. 5 Little Miss Ava and No. 4 Dapples Good race with several chances. There are a couple here who can run good races at odds. The 4 can show up early and she is racing well at the moment. Was good her last two behind an inform dog and can be prominent here. The 5 was desperately unlucky not to cross last start into a striking spot that would have seen her hard to hold out. She can find the fence here and run on late. EW shows both. Race 9 No. 3 Lilly Can Browse and No. 5 Forty One Flash The 3 will be hard to stop here if she nails the start. Ran 2nd behind a potential short course mega star last time out, she has good stats track and trip and will be competitive. The 5 can surprise here if she crosses. She usually shows early dash and last start indicated she is getting back to her better form. Also goes very well here and will be a good price. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 2 Aston Samba Stepping back in trip from the Fireball but that shouldn’t present any issue at all. Well boxed and has class on her side. Will rail strongly and be very hard to beat here especially if she steps quickly. Race 6 No. 3 Tiggerlong Nibel Enigmatic type whose form suggests he can’t win but the step up in distance just might bring his best out. Can unleash some big sections when he’s on and ready to tackle this middle distance again. Don’t dismiss him for a top 2 play. Race 7 No. 6 Hummock Cannot draw a box for the life of him. That shouldn’t be too much of an issue today if he hops out as he has steady beginners either side of him. If he managed to cross then it’s check and mate. Has a big middle section and can run time. Looks a great play with any luck at all. BALLARAT Race 5 No. 7 Ten Dollar Slaps Will be looking to spear over here before they run into the back and that will make him hard to catch. Has been in some very good 545m races here lately and can break the 31 comfortably. Big show. Race 6 No. 3 El Cazador and No. 4 Swifty The 3 is one of the most consistent dogs to ever hit a track. Puts in week after week and gives his all every time. Loves it here and just fell short of running down Golden Quest last start. Great top 2 hope. The 4 has a stack of talent too and if she offsets her draw, she can get into this. Has run some nice races here track and trip and isn’t hopeless. Small save there. Market Market
