Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on July 4, 2022July 4, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 1 Fawn Roller Two ways to look at this. Take odds on about the champ, Roll Out to win his 50th race, or back the 1, who has had Roll Outs measure twice recently, EW to hit top 2. He beat him fair and square last start and while Roll Out has had a short freshen, the small field and box 1 means Fawn Roller won’t let him get away easily. Explodes mid race and can come from anywhere. He may not have to though. If he doesn’t nab Roll Out, he will get the gun run and should claim 2nd at the black odds currently on offer. Race 5 No. 1 Still Dreaming and No. 7 Molfetta Snow The 1 can surprise here with his good inside box record. Wide runners outside him give him every hope to punch up and be prominent early and he sticks on. Don’t dismiss the 7 at crazy odds here. He is much better suited over the longer trip but this race presents a few awkwardly drawn customers and could get messy. He will capitalise on that and charge late. Place heavy spec on him. Race 6 No. 8 Believin’ Blade and No. 6 Mango Salsa The 8 is boxed perfectly here and very rarely misses that podium. Will muster up and sustain his run and looks a great chance to figure again after his 16.16 two starts ago. The 6 can get into this even though he’s dropping back in trip. Has a great record over this track and distance and racing well. Only has to offset the box. Race 7 No. 4 Who’s Got Cruz and No. 1 Mystify A good final. The 4 gets a great draw with no early pace inside him here. He will land close on the fence and was super last week behind Barrio Beast. Goes close if he steps and avoids the 5 to the post first time. The 1 is a monster quote and place player here. She gets back but with a few carving over out wide, there could be trouble and she might slide up the fence and not be that far off them. Will need luck but can run on into a place. The 4 is a great EW show however. Race 10 No. 7 Sugar Ray Gala Back to the 380m here and that won’t worry him. Expect him to step quickly and look to hurtle over and take up a forward spot. Been racing harder opponents than this lately and only has to secure a clear run to win off a good beginning. Race 12 No. 7 Minotaur Tux and No. 8 Dancing Fun A couple of smokies to take us out. The are 5 dogs in this who can drop a sub 5.50 to the mark. It’s bound to get messy if they all bring their A game. The 4 is unleadable when he steps and he usually does and he’s the class runner here but he gets wide and walks to the line some days. But when he gets company early it gets ugly and he may get that here. The 7 and 8 both come off the arm and are both genuine chasers who will keep coming not matter what if they get the breaks. Playing for luck but at big EW quotes, one or both may get that luck required in an open affair. ANGLE PARK Race 6 No. 4 Resurgence and No. 5 War Drum Express The 4 is a silly price here. Can show up early and go his 34.5 which will be enough to get into this. Can be hard to run down and look for him early. The 5 is enigmatic but strong and racing well. He will start his run up the back and hit the line hard. Both good EW shows here. Race 7 No. 2 Whiskey Soda She gets a gun map here with a right stepper outside her. While she takes a little bit to muster into a race, she gets every chance to land handy here and once her momentum is built, she reels off big middle and last splits. Great show here. Race 8 No. 2 Prussian Spirit and No. 3 Under Study A couple who have been missed in the market here and can run sneaky races. The 2 is well boxed here and while her best form may be at Gawler, she has won here and can punch up behind the red early. Strong and can get into this. The 3 will be a huge price and with the red and the 4 both going quickly, she too can slot over to the fence and she rails her way home solidly. Unbeaten off this box and has been racing far harder company. Race 10 No. 2 Hey Grace Last chance to break through here after having multiple placings. Boxed to land close and she can capitalise on the middle dogs holding this fav up in the run to the first turn. If she drives through and takes over then she won’t be run down. Must produce here. Race 11 No. 4 Boundin’ Baby and No. 5 Victa Maggie The 4 is a prolific winner and place-getter. Ultra consistent and has those super box manners that sets her races up. Will step and go fast and if she leads that should be it. The 5 will get a nice cart into this. Goes well here and handles all draws. Only missed a place 3 times track and trip from 15 goes. EW player. Race 12 No. 7 Neangar Boy Not sure what we are missing here and why he isn’t punching favouritism. Has good speed and will accelerate quickly here and go seriously close to crossing. That’s all it will take and this will be over. Monster play here and best bet. Market Market
