Greg’s Kalgoorlie Preview Posted on May 20, 2016May 23, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 1 CLEVE’S WATCHING can improve on his first-up run in town and be very competitive in this company. GALACTIC RULER battled first-up but Glenn Smith jumps on which is a positive, FIERACAVALLI has been racing consistently and looks the leader. ANYWHERE ANYHOW has good place claims again. Numbers – 4 – 3 – 1 – 8 Suggested Bet – Cleve’s Watching win RACE 2 LADY EMILY has been a model of consistency at Albany this season and if she has one run left in her then she should beat these. STANTON ABBEY appears the main danger. Lucy Warwick takes the ride for Jason Miller. The blinkers go on QUESTOR to sharpen him up. LADY ARMAGEDDON can round out the first-four. Numbers – 9 – 1 – 8 – 10 Suggested Bet – Lady Emily save Stanton Abbey RACE 3 SMART AS A FOX has put in eye-catching efforts at his last two starts. Jordan Turner goes on and he looks very well placed to chalk up his first win of the preparation. ADRICAT has been building nicely and looks close. RAFFERTY sits on the speed and can win again. HAUL IN next best. Numbers – 4 – 3 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – Smart As Fox win RACE 4 Terrific race with a few nice types engaged. DARK ROYALTY got going well late last start and should be cherry ripe for the 1400m. PHANTOM CHOICE looks the likely leader and only start at this track resulted in a soft win. DARADALE missed the kick first-up and was never travelled. He can improve sharply. THIDWICK THE MOOSE should box seat and can win. Suggested Bet – Dark Royalty and Phantom Choice RACE 5 JINGTANG has been outstanding since he relocated to the Goldfields. He can carry weight and will be very hard to hold out. GREYSTAT should find the front and dictate. NINGBO was a big winner in a weak maiden. PUT UP YOUR DUKES has strong place claims. Suggested Bet – Jingtang and Greystat RACE 6 Toughest race of the day with a host of winning chances. STAR GLITTER comes to Kalgoorlie after a host of eye-catching efforts in town. He hasn’t won a race for over two years but gets his chance in this. PRESIDENT GROVER can lead and give a big sight. DEAR DOROTHY just needs some luck from an awkward alley. KILLORGLIN impressed last when mowing his rivals down late. Suggested Bet – Star Glitter win RACE 7 MASTER WINKS looks the best on the program. He was terrific in defeat behind the smart Jingtang fresh and then made amends with a soft win at his most recent start. He should win again. SLEEPY STRIKER resumes without a trial for a new stable. LONGSCHAMP can fill the placings again. VICTORIA PEAK has some claims fresh. Suggested Bet – Master Winks QUADDIE RACE 4 – 1, 2, 3, 6 RACE 5 – 1, 6, 8 RACE 6 – 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 RACE 7 – 1, 2 Bet Now!
