Greg Hooper’s Top Tips for Bunbury Posted on March 29, 2016March 29, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 4 NO. 7 RAGNAR’S SAGA Lonhro three-year-old RAGNAR’S SAGA could not have been more impressive in a recent Lark Hill trial win. He settled close to the rear and motored over his rivals to win by four lengths under a hold. If he brings that type of effort to the races he should be starting his career with a win. RACE 6 NO. 6 BY DECREE Universal Ruler filly DY DECREE showed ability in her first campaign. On debut she was beaten just over two lengths in a Saturday race and then was taken to Albany for a kill where she did plenty wrong but was still too good. She has been tuned up with a solid trial effort she finished next to some open class gallopers. From gate 2 Lucy Warwick should be able to position right on the speed and she will take plenty of beating. RACE 7 NO. 6 SUPER HUNTER SUPER HUNTER resumes from a spell for local trainer Don Wall. He’s a lightly raced five-year-old who has always shown ability. He wasn’t asked for a great deal in a recent trial and from a good draw he should be able to settle midfield and play a part at each-way prices.
