Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on May 25, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: FOLLOW GLOUCESTER PARK ON FACEBOOK 2YO MS PACE BLETCHLEY PARK (1) led throughout for a dominant first up win and then faced the breeze when a 3.4m 3rd to MAJOR SURVIVOR (6) in a similar field to what he meets here. He is drawn inside his rivals tonight and can lead throughout. SHOCKWAVE (2) hasn’t missed a place in his five career starts and his latest effort when a close 2nd in good time was full of merit. BITCOIN (3) has won two of his three starts in slick time and can win with the right run. MAJOR SURVIVOR (6) defeated a similar field recently but is drawn wider here. Tips: 1 2 3 6 Suggested Bet: BLETCHLEY PARK (1) to win. Race 2: $7 PINTS AT JP’S MS PACE BACK TO THE BEACH (1) has had two starts back from a break and ran on nicely when 3rd to TISADREAM (8) last week. He has the barrier advantage tonight and will be looking for an all the way victory. TISADREAM (8) defeated a very similar field last week as a $1.20 favourite to bring up a hat-trick but won’t find it as easy from the wide draw. DOMINATE THE DOJO (3) faced the breeze and battled on well to be 2nd in the same event and should be in the finish again. BRONZE SEEKER (10) looks a great place chance from this draw. Tips: 1 8 3 10 Suggested Bet: BACK TO THE BEACH (1) to win. SuperPick - Race 2 No.1 BACK TO THE BEACH - Money Back Race 3: CHRISTMAS IN JULY AT THE BEAU RIVAGE RESTAURANT MS PACE EAGLE ROX (4) took her record to 13 wins from 24 starts when a strong winner here last week. She rises significantly in class for this assignment but will strip fitter and looks ready for the challenge. REAL LUCKY (1) hasn’t drawn inside barrier five in his last five starts and looks a big improver from the pole. TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (11) is first up and is better suited from a front line draw but has plenty of ability and must be respected. TWOANDAHALFTIGERS (6) resumes after a year long absence so monitor the betting. Tips: 4 1 11 6 Suggested Bet: REAL LUCKY (1) each way. Race 4: CAPORN ELECTRICAL THE PURE STEEL FINAL MS PACE SIMBA BROMAC (1) has won 13 of his last 17 starts and is drawn to add to that record tonight. He meets a strong field but the barrier advantage should be enough to bring up his 5th win on the trot. MISTER VERSACE (3) is back to his best and shouldn’t be far away from his nice draw. EL JACKO (9) was beaten less than 2m by SIMBA BROMAC (1) from a similar barrier last start and has a touch of class. CAMPORA (10) looks a good place chance from his perfect trailing draw. Tips: 1 3 9 10 Suggested Bet: SIMBA BROMAC (1) to win. Race 5: GPHR MEMBERS SPRINT MS PACE BETTORS FIRE (6) has led throughout to win three of his last four and looks likely to find the top again. He will be suited by the sprint trip and his main rivals will have to work in the run so he is clearly the one to beat. HEEZ ON FIRE (2) resumes from a spell and has the turn of foot to be dangerous from this draw. IDEAL TYSON (4) is up in class on his first-up win but he did go 1.52.8 from the breeze so must be considered. SHANDALE (9) is working up to his best form but has a horror draw to overcome. Tips: 6 2 4 9 Suggested Bet: BETTORS FIRE (6) to win. Race 6: 3YO PEARL CLASSIC JACK MAC (2) is undefeated in his seven WA starts and will be far too goof for this field if he is anywhere near right. The only concern is that he missed all of the major races and hasn’t trialled publicly. MISTER SPOT (11) was only 5m from the winner in the WA Derby and could be the danger if there is a chink in the favourites’ armour. ROBSHAW (10) has shown plenty of ability in his two starts and should enjoy a nice run on the pegs. WAR CLUB (1) is drawn to get a perfect trail and looks a good place chance. Tips: 2 11 10 1 Suggested Bet: JACK MAC (2) to win. Race 7: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU WESTBRED MS PACE BETTOR BE LIVELY (2) had a tough trip last start when unplaced for the first time in his last eight runs. He has the barrier advantage over his main rival and should give a great sight. OUR ZAK WHITBY (12) led throughout in 1.53.3 last start and is the class runner of the field but has a tough draw to overcome. OUR PERKINS (1) has terrific gate speed and has won three of his last five in easier company. KASEY JOHN (4) is back to his best but is better suited on the pegs. Tips: 2 12 1 4 Suggested Bet: BETTOR BE LIVELY (2) to win. Race 8: MIDWEEK MEALS AT STEELO’S FROM $14.50 MARES SS PACE BETTOR B CHEVRON (3) led and was beaten by MAJOR REALITY (9) in 1.54.6 four starts back. She hadn’t been able to find the front since but could do so here and would be hard to catch in that role. MAJOR REALITY (9) is the class mare of the field and prefers to be the hunter rather than the hunted and gets that opportunity from this draw. GOTTA GO GABBANA (2) led throughout for a comfortable victory last week and is up to the rise in class. SUZIE ROCKS (1) takes on a stronger field but shouldn’t be far away from the pole. Tips: 3 9 2 1 Suggested Bet: BETTOR B CHEVRON (3) to win. Race 9: BOOK YOUR NEXT CONFERENCE OR EVENT AT GP TROTTERS MOBILE MS PACE SUNOFLINDENNY (1) was a dominant winner at Pinjarra before being checked and breaking but still finishing within 3m of GLENFERRIE TYPHOON (9) on Tuesday. He has a significant barrier advantage tonight and can turn the tables. GLENFERRIE TYPHOON (9) did things wrong at his first WA start but put it all together on Tuesday and should win plenty of races in this state. SUN OF ANARCHY (8) has won his last two starts and must be considered despite the barrier. BLAMORAL BOY (2) shouldn’t be far away from this draw. Tips: 1 9 8 2 Suggested Bet: SUNOFLINDENNY (1) to win. Race 10: TABTOUCH – MAKE YOUR BET MATTER MS PACE ROBERT THE BRUCE (5) has disappointed at his last two starts but his previous form would make him hard to beat here. He has the advantage of being drawn inside his main rivals and is worth one more chance. RUNAWAY THREE (6) is working up to his best form and was a solid 2nd in a Pinjarra stand on Monday. LUIS ALBERTO (9) drops in class but that has been offset by a wide draw. BUDD SIDEWINDER (8) has run into the money at good each way odds at his last two and can do the same again. Tips: 5 6 9 8 Suggested Bet: ROBERT THE BRUCE (5) to win. Bet Now
