Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on July 22, 2016July 25, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: TAYLOR SULKY REPAIRS 3YO MS PACE VANQUISHED (1) has impressed at winning at his last two starts from bad draws and will appreciate the pole tonight. He was a strong winner in 1.56.8 at Pinjarra two starts back and looks hard to beat with the barrier advantage. HARRY HOO (6) made up a lot of ground to finish a close 3rd to Kiwi Legend last week and will be thereabouts again. QUESTIONABLE GESTURE (4) has been a beaten favourite at Narrogin at his last two but can be in the finish. FRANCO RAYNER (9) was a solid all the way winner last start but will find it tougher from out here. Tips: 1 6 4 9 Suggested Bet: VANQUISHED (1) to win. Race 2: CENTRAL FRUIT SALES MS PACE RICIMER (1) has led throughout to win his last three starts, all in slick time. He didn’t appear to be overly impressive in winning by a neck last week but still rated 1.55.1 for the 2130 and will be hard to run down again tonight. AMERICAN BOY (8) faced the breeze when comfortably recording his 13th win from 16 starts and looks up to the rise in class. BILLIES A STAR (2) has been a mixture of disappointing and unlucky but is well drawn here. OUR JIMMY JOHNSTONE (9) is drawn poorly but must be considered on his last start win. Tips: 1 8 2 9 Suggested Bet: RICIMER (1) to win. Race 3: DOWN UNDER SULKY COMPANY MS PACE KIWI LEGEND (9) was beaten at his first three starts since resuming from a Golden Nugget placing but showed something like his best last week. He faced the breeze from a wide draw and was too strong at the finish and looks capable of handling the rise in class. CHOCCY MAC (5) was a comfortable last start winner and could end up with a nice run despite an awkward draw. GLENFERRIE AFFAIR (1) doesn’t have the class of his main rivals but has the pole and is flying. OUR REGAL IDEAL (2) is well drawn and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 9 5 1 2 Suggested Bet: KIWI LEGEND (9) to win. Race 4: YORK & DISTRICTS COMMUNITY FINANCIAL SERVICES MS PACE BIG SPOOK (2) has been placed at his last two including a 3.4m 2nd to American Boy when he led last week. His chances will depend on him getting around his stablemate at the start so monitor betting as he will be extremely hard to beat if he finds the top. AVALON BROMAC (1) led from this barrier last start and was nabbed right on the line and should be in the finish. HOLY GRAIL (6) will settle back in the field but will be storming home as usual, while IMA TRAGEDY (10) was held up last week and could suffer the same fate tonight. Tips: 2 1 6 10 Suggested Bet: BIG SPOOK (2) to win. Race 5: REGENCY FOOD SERVICES WA THE CHANDON QUALIFYING HEAT 3 MYNAMESKENNY (1) won six on end to finish his last campaign and warmed up for his resumption with a 1.57.7 Byford trial win. He looks the leader and a big chance to make it seven straight. IMA CONNOISSEUR (4) was enormous when sitting outside Ricimer and finishing 2nd to that pacer last week and should be right in the finish again. THAT’S RITE (6) is better suited when he can lead and does have blistering gate speed but tonight may not be his night. FIREBOMB (10) isn’t racing at his top but can be placed from this draw. Tips: 1 4 6 10 Suggested Bet: MYNAMESKENNY (1) to win. Race 6: REMOTE FOODS AUSTRALIA MS PACE RUN ONEOVER (1) recorded a comfortable victory over Ideal Alice when he found the front and was then a brave 2nd to Beaudiene Boaz when he sat outside that pacer. He has the advantage of the pole tonight and is the one to beat. MY HARD COPY (12) won the WA Pacing Cup five starts back and his last run was a 4th in the Miracle Mile. He bolted away to win a recent Byford trial and his paralysing sprint enables him to overcome bad draws. WAYLADE (2) and CYAMACH (6) are racing well but are probably just place chances. Tips: 1 12 2 6 Suggested Bet: RUN ONEOVER (1) to win. Race 7: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND BOTRA CUP IM MISTER CHARLIE (1) has been a consistent performer in stands and was taken on in front last week when a solid 3rd to OHOKA COOPER (3). He goes up in class tonight but is the lone frontmarker and should give them something to catch. OUR JERICHO (5) was an impressive winner of a similar event two starts back and is a big hope. NAUGHTY MARAVU (4) had no luck at all in the stand last week and can improve. OHOKA COOPER (3) won a similar race last week and will be running on again. Tips: 1 5 4 3 Suggested Bet: IM MISTER CHARLIE (1) each way. Race 8: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND ON COURSE MARES MS PACE FORMYEYESONLY (1) has won two on end, including a last start all the way victory where she sped across from a wide barrier and fought off challengers to record a strong win. She should lead easily tonight and is clearly the one to beat. WHERE DREAMS GROW (4) has been unplaced in stronger company at her last three starts and will appreciate racing her own sex here. BLACKNSWEET ADDA (2) is in career best form and wasn’t far from FORMYEYESONLY (1) last start. DELIGHTFUL JADE (9) is probably the class mare of the field but has a horror draw. Tips: 1 4 2 9 Suggested Bet: FORMYEYESONLY (1) to win. Race 9: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND OPEN WEEKDAYS 2YO FILLIES MS PACE ANGEL BROMAC (1) was the run of the race when 2nd to LADY LUCA (6) in the Diamond Classic and her subsequent efforts, while not at that level, are good enough to win this from the pole. DOALITTLEROCKNROLL (5) had a nice run and finished fairly for 3rd behind Maczaffair and ANGEL BROMAC (1) last start and should be thereabouts again. LADY LUCA (6) won the Diamond Classic three starts back and hasn’t had much luck in her subsequent runs. SOHO CHANGELING (2) is a place chance from the draw. Tips: 1 6 5 2 Suggested Bet: ANGEL BROMAC (1) to win. Race 10: WWW.HORSEANDHOUND.COM.AU 3YO WESTBRED FILLIES MS PACE PARISIAN PARTYGIRL (4) was an unlucky 5th two starts back and ran on fairly when midfield last week. This field is not strong and she won’t get many easier chances to win a race. THE SHADOW KNOWS (3) is yet to be placed in four starts but her trials indicate that she has ability and could be a big improver. OUR CITATION (2) is no star but did beat many of these home when 2nd to Kurious last start. MELIMAC (8) was held up in the same race but is drawn poorly again. Tips: 4 3 2 8 Suggested Bet: PARISIAN PARTYGIRL (4) to win. Bet Now
