Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 9, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: LIFE MEMBERS OF YORK RACING WESTBRED MS PACE BETTOR REWARD (8) disappointed at his first run back from a spell when unplaced as a $1.10 favourite but ran a strong 2nd to Thereugo last start. He is drawn wide but is the class runner of the field and should prove hard to beat. SARAH GOODY (4) led and was beaten as a $1.20 favourite at her first start after a break but was a dominant winner at her last run and is the best drawn of the main chances. ABRAXAS BLUES (7) and KHUN RATHA (6) are both racing consistently and are capable of upsetting the fancied pair with the right run. Tips: 8 4 7 6 Suggested Bet: BETTOR REWARD (8) to win. SuperPick - Race 1 no. 8 BETTOR REWARD - Money Back Race 2: LIFE MEMBERS OF YORK HARNESS FILLIES AND MARES MS PACE BETTOR BOA (2) was a stunning winner at her first run back from a break and backed that up with a solid 2nd to Sarah Goody. She is well drawn tonight and looks the winner if she maintains her recent form. MARY CATHERINE (6) resumed from a spell with a close up 4th to three quality pacers and will appreciate taking on own her sex here. Stablemates AUCTIONEERS ELSU (7) and ITS MY LUCKNOW (5) continue to race consistently and should be running on. Tips: 2 6 7 5 Suggested Bet: BETTOR BOA (2) to win. Race 3: TABTOUCH MS PACE DODOLICIOUS (3) is racing well and will be looking to turn the tables on DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK (1) who has beaten her at her last two starts. She ran home in 55.8 when just nabbed on the line last start and will be hard to beat. DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK (1) is flying and is obviously a huge chance from the pole. QUITE A DELIGHT (2) won two of her four starts before a spell and should be thereabouts. BETTOR BE SUPREME (5) won five of her last seven before a spell and looks the only other winning chance. Tips: 3 1 2 5 Suggested Bet: DODOLICIOUS (3) to win. Race 4: AVON WASTE MS PACE JOHNNY DISCO (2) led throughout and gave nothing else a chance when a 1.55.7 winner over this distance last week. He isn’t as certain to lead tonight but will be hard to catch if he does find the front. ZACH MAGUIRE (4) is a highly promising pacer resuming from a spell and will be charging home. BRONZE SEEKER (5) will win a race of this nature with the right breaks and must be considered. EL HOMBRE (8) continues to race well but the wide draw makes it tough. Tips: 2 4 5 8 Suggested Bet: JOHNNY DISCO (2) to win. Race 5: WA COUNTRY BUILDERS THE KERSLEY QUALIFYING HEAT 2 JAMES GALLEON (7) lost form before a spell but trialled impressively at Byford recently and can give this a shake first up. BRAEVIEW BOMBER (2) improved greatly last start when a close up 4th in a better race and should be thereabouts from his perfect draw. KING LEBRON (11) showed something like his best when 3rd to Vultan Tin last week and will appreciate the drop in class. OUR JACCKA MARA (1) led throughout from this draw to record a solid win last week but meets a stronger field tonight. Tips: 7 2 11 1 Suggested Bet: JAMES GALLEON (7) each way. Race 6: TABTOUCH YORK CUP MOTU PREMIER (7) resumed from a spell with a solid win before facing the breeze when 2nd to AMERICAN BOY (3). He then chased hard when a strong 3rd to Chicago Bull and Soho Tribeca and will appreciate the absence of that pair tonight. THE BUCKET LIST (2) ran a great 2nd in 1.57.2 for the stand at Pinjarra on Monday and looks a major player from this draw. SHANDALE (9) has proven to be one of the state’s best pacers but has the widest draw to overcome. AMERICAN BOY (3) is a winning chance if he can find the front. Tips: 7 3 2 9 Suggested Bet: MOTU PREMIER (7) to win. Race 7: TABTOUCH MS PACE IM FULL OF EXCUSES (12) has been unplaced at his four starts this campaign but gets his chance tonight. He was only beaten 10m by TOMMY BE GOOD (9) in quick time on Monday and can turn the tables here. TOMMY BE GOOD (9) has won his last two, both from the stand, and will be charging home again. ASSASSINATOR (8) has been consistent in these events with 2nds at his last two starts and must be considered. BETTOR NOT BITTER (7) faced the breeze last week and can play a part with a better run in transit. Tips: 12 9 8 7 Suggested Bet: IM FULL OF EXCUSES (12) each way. Race 8: GANNON`S HARNESS COLOURS MS PACE IM ROCKARIA (9) has resumed from a spell in great form, including consecutive wins at his past two starts in 1.53.6 and 1.56.4. He must overcome a wide draw but did that last start and is clearly the one to beat. VALENS (4) crosses the Nullabor with good Victorian form and a strong 2nd in a recent Pinjarra trial in good time so must be respected first up. ARGYLE RED (6) has been unplaced at his last three but this is a collectively easier assignment. CHAI STORM (1) has disappointed at his first two runs back from a spell but is better drawn here. Tips: 9 4 6 1 Suggested: IM ROCKARIA (9) to win. Race 9: THOMAS SABO JEWELLERY MS PACE WEBB ELLIS (1) was placed in consecutive runs back in September before finishing near the rear at his subsequent three starts. He is suited by the sprint distance and his perfect draw ensures that he should be a big improver tonight. JUST BET ON BLACK (7) led and was only beaten by the talented Im Rockaria and should run a big race here. ONEONTHEWOOD (5) might not be at his best but is still next best as the field drops away quickly. BEBRAVE (4) has been plain at his past two starts but is capable of better. Tips: 1 7 5 4 Suggested Bet: WEBB ELLIS (1) to win. Race 10: WIN BOOST ON TABTOUCH MS PACE CHUCK NORRIS (7) has won eight of 26 starts and resumes here from a break without a trial. He has raced predominantly in standing start events but did record a 1.54.2 mobile win last campaign and will be hard to beat if near his top. DAME PUISSANT (2) hasn’t had much luck at her two starts this campaign and should be a big improver from this draw. ESTILO (8) was impressive in beating weaker company last start and should be running on. MAC TIGER (1) performed poorly last time in but has trialled reasonably and has the pole. Tips: 7 2 8 1 Suggested Bet: CHUCK NORRIS (7) to win. Bet Now
