Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on March 10, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: RETRAVISION MS PACE KIWI LEGEND (7) was driven aggressively when a strong 1.56.4 winner here last week. This represents a drop in class and he looks extremely hard to beat. FOXY DAME (2) was a good 3rd to The Parade in the Empress Stakes before beating a weaker field last start and should be handy from the draw. TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (6) is very promising and followed four successive victories with a 4th last start when the winner went 1.53.1 and he should be in the finish. MEXICANO (1) is a good place chance from the draw. Tips: 7 2 6 1 Suggested Bet: KIWI LEGEND (7) to win. Race 2: CHOICES FLOORING WESTBRED QUALIFYING HEAT 2 MS PACE LETZTORQUEABOUTYOU (7) has resumed form an 18 month layoff in great style, including a 1.56.0 win from a wide barrier before being severely checked last week. He is drawn wide again but will give a great sight. JOHNNY DISCO (12) is the other class runner of the field and he resumed with a 10m 5th to Bettor Reward in a hot field and will appreciate a big drop in class. OUR ARTEMSIA (4) and HOT FRATERNITY (9) have both been racing extremely well in weaker fields and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 7 12 4 9 Suggested Bet: LETZTORQUEABOUTYOU (7) to win. Race 3: PRINCI BUTCHERS MARES MS PACE SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) was in great form at the end of her last campaign, winning 9 of her last 13 starts. She resumes here without a trial but is clearly the class mare in this field. GIULIANA RANCIC (2) is racing consistently including a solid last start 2nd here last week. She can use her race fitness and barrier advantage to test SHEER ROCKNROLL (7). STUNIN EYES ONLY (3) hasn’t had much luck at her last two runs and can improve from a better draw tonight. OCTOBER BROWN (4) goes up in class but is racing well. Tips: 7 2 3 4 Suggested Bet: SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) to win. Race 4: WESTRAL CONDITIONED HANDICAP SS PACE TOMMY SMITH (2) was a dominant stand winner four starts back in good time and his efforts in mobiles since have been sound. He is nicely drawn and will be very hard to catch if he can find the front. HEAR IT NOW (6) can fly the stand and will be hard to beat if he finds the top early. BETTOR NOT KNOWING (5) was far from disgraced when run down by the talented Mitch Maguire on Monday and shouldn’t be far away. ASSASSINATOR (11) is racing consistently and can overcome his handicap but is finding it hard to break through. Tips: 2 6 5 11 Suggested Bet: TOMMY SMITH (2) each way. Race 5: WESTSIDE AUTO WHOLESALE THE CLARKE QUALIFYING HEAT 1 ARGYLE RED (1) has gone to a new level recently, winning two of his last three including an all the way win from this barrier in 1.55.8 two starts back and a repeat performance will see him very hard to beat. TWOANDAHALF TIGERS (4) continues to race consistently and won’t be far away from his nice draw. GAZ WANNABET (5) was 3rd to ARGYLE RED (1) two starts back after facing the breeze and should be thereabouts again. HEZ THE ARTISAN (10) doesn’t have the class of the others but looks a place chance from the draw. Tips: 1 4 5 10 Suggested Bet: ARGYLE RED (1) to win. Race 6: TABTOUCH MS PACE AMERICAN BOY (1) was a strong winner over Bungalow Bill before stepping up to open company when a good 3rd to Im Full Of Excuses in a strong Pinjarra Cup. He has the barrier advantage over his rivals and is clearly the one to beat. RISK (4) made a big impression at his last campaign and is the logical danger if he is anywhere near his top at his first run back from a break. BETTOR OFFER (3) is racing extremely well and won’t be far away again. OUR REGAL IDEAL (2) looks a place chance from the draw. Tips: 1 4 3 2 Suggested Bet: AMERICAN BOY (1) to win. Race 7: MCINERNEY FORD MS PACE PAY ME CULLEN (3) was a dominant winner five starts back and then ran a great 2nd to Mister Daytona but has struggled at his subsequent runs in strong fields. He will appreciate the drop in class tonight and can bounce back into form. WETELLTHETRUTH (2) led throughout to win in style six starts back but hasn’t been as competitive from bad draws but gets his chance here. ROBYNS RAIDER (7) was a solid 5th in quick time last start and could be good each way value at odds. ATLASTALONE (8) will appreciate the drop in class. Tips: 3 2 7 8 Suggested Bet: ROBYNS RAIDER (7) each way. Race 8: INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH PRODUCTS MS PACE FIFTH EDITION (3) has improved in each of his three WA runs and his last start 2nd to Debt Free Charlie in 1.55.4 showcased his ability. He is nicely drawn and gets his chance to win his first race here. NEW WORLD ORDER (7) found another way to get beat when the deafeners failed to release last week in his narrow loss. He has the ability to overcome the draw but has to be taken on trust. AUSSIE DELIGHT (5) resumes from a long spell without a trial but has the ability if right. EASTWOOD FACTOR (6) will be running on and is a place chance. Tips: 3 7 5 6 Suggested Bet: FIFTH EDITION (3) to win. Race 9: ALLTOOLS MS PACE UCANTTAKEITWITHU (1) led throughout to beat a moderate field two starts back before running a nice 5th in stronger company. He is drawn perfectly tonight and should give a great sight. RABCHENKO (2) has disappointed when leading recently but has run some nice races from behind. This represents a drop in class and he must be considered from this draw. PASS THE MAGIC (6) has been impressive in winning his last two at Albany and is ready for metro racing. OUR JACCKA MARA (8) disappointed last week but this is weaker. Tips: 1 2 6 8 Suggested Bet: UCANTTAKEITWITHU (1) to win. Race 10: SLATER GARTRELL SPORTS MS PACE LISDELIGHT (1) is racing fairly including a last start 3rd here on Tuesday. He has the best form in the race but the concern is that he is likely to be crossed at the start. ALL THE TORQUE (3) has been unplaced at his last six starts but has been taking on stronger company and may find the front here. LAGOON BEACH (6) disappointed as a $2.00 favourite last start but probably gets another chance against this line up. LOMBO LOUGANIS (2) looks a good place chance from the draw. Tips: 1 3 6 2 Suggested Bet: LISDELIGHT (1) to win. Bet Now
