Scott’s Wednesday Geraldton Preview Posted on January 3, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 DEMERIT POINT has always shown glimpses of ability and falls into a winnable maiden. SKETCH LINE looks well placed after encouraging runs this preparation. SCARLET IMAGE will be looking for further than this but can win fresh. TURBO TYSON has poor numerical form but can improve. LIKE HIM A LOT was plain on debut but step up in trip helps. Numbers: 9 – 12 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – SKETCH LINE EACHWAY Race 2 STONEY BRIDGE looks extremely one paced. If Stone lets him roll he can pinch it. MIDWEST CROWN could be an improver at odds in this field. TRUE DELIGHT has been away from the track a long time and looks dour. ISLAND ROGUE next. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 9 – 2 Suggested Bet – STONEY BRIDGE WIN Race 3 SHIBUYA CROSSING is second emergency, however, if she gains a run she should be favourite on the back of her recent form. ANISAU was dynamite two starts ago but only fair last week. WING COMMANDER is always there abouts. MOSSMAN FLYER was luckless at his most recent, forget he went round. Numbers: 12 – 1 – 5 – 9 Suggested Bet – SHIBUYA CROSSING WIN Race 4 BRITELLA is going great guns this preparation and can definitely test the favourite. PRESENTATIE is the class runner and goes well fresh, may be looking for a bit further at this stage of her career. NEWMARRACARRA fell in first-up and was never a chance second up. ESPRESSO LANE got up the cutaway and won well at her second WA outing. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 1 – 8 Suggested Bet – BRITELLA EACHWAY Race 5 SOURCE OF SURVIVAL may find the front here and if that is the case can be hard to run down at juicy eachway odds. STARBOUND looks far better suited back to the 1400m. He will likely be supported into favouritism late. YOU ARE IDYLLIC comes from strong form races for this and should be in the finish. TERIREM is hard to catch but usually competitive. Numbers: 8 – 2 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – SOURCE OF SURVIVAL EACHWAY Race 6 AKIKO won well first-up in Geraldton and can certainly go on with it from the gun draw. PHAROAHS TRIUMPH is a speed machine and should find the front. TRADEMARK improved lengths second-up and his form last preparation is far superior to any of his rivals. ROYAL PLANET ran a handy race fresh. Numbers: 2 – 7 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – AKIKO WIN Race 7 FLYTEGO is honest as they come and the cutaway run really suits his short sharp sprint. MR AFRICAN usually goes well fresh and the big fella can go close for the Queen of Geraldton. MIKIMOTO GIFT is always hard to chase down if she finds the top. SASSOS CIRCUS back to the sprint trip is the query. Numbers: 9 – 5 – 4 – 2 Suggested Bet – FLYTEGO WIN SuperPick - Race 7 No. 9 FLYTEGO - Money Back Quaddie (Races 4 – 7) 1,2,3,8 2,5,6,8,9 1,2,6,7 2,4,5,9 Bet Now
