RACE 2 No. 8 Col ‘n’ Lil

Well worth a ‘throw at the stumps’ tomorrow. Now in no way is she the best horse in this race however things may well pan out in her favour as she’s an on pacer who will tag the leader (Religify) throughout, that horse doesn’t like soft ground & is likely to stop in the straight. With a cosy run the backmarkers may find it tough to run her down.

RACE 5 No. 9 Order Again

Local galloper on his way to a Derby start in a fortnight. His effort to beat all bar the winner in the Rough Habit plate at Doomben two weeks ago was terrific giving that horse a decent start from the outset. Keep in mind he won his previous run on the track by over 7 lengths with ease. Tomorrow could be the start of a big fortnight for him.

RACE 8 No. 8 Tessera

Godolphin trained galloper who just had no luck gaining a clear run until all too late in the Gold Coast Guineas 3 weeks ago. Once into the open he flashed at the leaders only to miss by a small margin. He’s up to 1400m tomorrow & meets a strong bunch of 3yo’s however on his southern form is well up to the challenge. Should go very close.
