RACE 2 No. 12 Skate To Paris

Filly from the Chris Munce stable who’s put in two strong closing performances this campaign finishing less than a length from the winner on each occasion. Not raced for 5 weeks she was sent to the trials here on Tuesday with blinkers being applied. The result? She settled closer, led clearly into the straight before bolting away to score effortlessly. Great value.

RACE 4 No. 1 Tactical Advantage

Sydney visitor who looks to have this race at his mercy with his main rival Guard Of Honour an early scratching. Not raced for over a month however that shouldn’t be an issue as he does race very well on the fresh side. His most recent runs have been behind the smart Derryn who ran very well in the Doomben 10,000 here last Saturday. Well drawn, handles the wet ground looks all set to win.

RACE 6 No. 6 The Pinnacle

Oaks bound filly from the Snowden yard who not surprisingly has had her preparation timed to perfection with tomorrow the final stepping stone heading into the big Group 1 in a fortnights time. Liked her run beating all bar the winner Dawn Wall in the Gold Coast Bracelet where she closed off well after doing some work in the run. 2000m looks ideal and she’s well over the each-way quote.
