Chris’ Doomben Best Bets Posted on June 9, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 4 No. 7 Raiment Godolphin mare who strikes a very suitable race tomorrow. Well fancied at Eagle Farm last start she just didn’t handle the ground at all, under pressure from the home turn she did a good job to stick on all the way down the straight. Back onto a firmer surface tomorrow she’ll box seat from gate 1 & will only need an opening in the straight to put her rivals away. RACE 5 No. 4 Niccanova Highly promising galloper who has been the subject of many overseas offers (Hong Kong) however to date connections have declined them all. He’s won 4 of his 5 starts including both runs this time in kicking off with an easy Gold Coast kill before stepping up to claim the Fred Best at Eagle Farm a fortnight back. Cannot see any reason he won’t continue on his winning way. RACE 6 No. 13 Melody Belle Doubt we’ll win enough on this crack Kiwi filly to head off on an overseas holiday however she does look the best on what could be a tricky days racing. Dominant winning at Eagle Farm beating many of the rivals she’ll again meet here to score by almost 5 lengths. Leaders have all drawn to her outside suggesting she’ll slot over nicely & prove very hard to beat once again.
