Chris’ Doomben Preview Posted on September 30, 2016October 3, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 5 No. 3 Hi Harry Only a lightly raced type trained on the Gold Coast by David Kelly. Liked his run at Eagle Farm 2 weeks back running second to Balboa Rocks when having to chase home after missing the start almost a length, he meets that runner 2kg better off at the weights tomorrow and with better luck in running should be able to turn the tables in his favour. RACE 7 No. 7 Total Authority Les Ross trained mare who has been a model of consistency late and looks to have found a very suitable race tomorrow. She’s only missed a placing once at her past 6 starts which was a close up 4th here two starts back. She draws well and can take up a good spot in the run tomorrow, form there she’ll get every chance to record another win. RACE 8 No. 12 Shamfrancisco David Vandyke trained mare who is going great guns of late and looks well suited to bring up the hat trick tomorrow. She’s won her last couple by a cumulative margin of 6 lengths Eagle Farm and the Sunshine Coast gaining lovely trails on the back of the speed. Drawn the inside gate that should again be the case tomorrow. Well supported in early markets she looks very hard to beat.
