Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on July 1, 2022July 1, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.5 Kingston’s Here Promising galloper from the O’Dea/Hoysted yard who resumes from a break tomorrow. He holds a terrific fresh record and to date he’s handled soft ground well (not seen heavy) which will prove important as we are forecast to get plenty of rain over the next couple of days. Recent trial win was very impressive and I’m expecting similar here. RACE 4 No.7 Muschialli Another one resuming tomorrow this time from the leading Tony Gollan stable. Only lightly raced he holds a solid first up record having won here fresh last prep albeit in easier grade. Nice quiet trial at Doomben recently looking to have plenty in the tank finishing just out of the placings. He’ll be out the back early from the wide gate however once into the straight out on the crown he can run home hard! RACE 9 No.13 Glitter Strip Another one from the Gollan yard she’s a little hard to catch however tomorrow’s race looks an ideal one for her should they be able to make ground from the back. More often than not she’s the one catching the eye without winning with those ‘flashing lights’ all over her for next time. She loves the wet and at the odds available looks great each-way value.
