RACE 3 No.11 Quiet Michael

Originally I was waiting for this one to get out to at least 2000m however around here on the big track facing only average opposition he’s a definite chance at decent odds. Two runs back from a break will have him fitter and note he did win last prep when stepped up to this trip before placing at Rosehill his next start. Well worth a ‘throw at the stumps’.

RACE 6 No.1 Miss Hipstar

Consistent filly from the Kelly Schweida stable who resumes tomorrow looking to keep her unbeaten first up record intact. She draws perfectly to park right behind the speed and with the claim for Leah Kilner gets down to a winnable 57kg weight. She has won here (last start) & I liked her recent trial win when sitting wide on the speed, confident she can make a winning return.

RACE 8 No.1 Ligulate

Quality galloper going for consecutive wins after scoring comfortably at Eagle Farm third up a fortnight ago. On that occasion he bounced well and made full use of his good draw not giving away as big a start as he can do at times. With a likely soft tempo expected tomorrow Andrew Mallyon can take advantage of another good gate and get home over the leaders once again.
