Obvious, however the bookies might just take this one on being first up and should he get out to a ‘yours for theirs’ quote he’s definitely worth a bet. Unbeaten at all three starts to date winning a Group 1 at his latest run before spelling he cruised around in a recent barrier trial before finding the line nicely late under no urgings. Very classy galloper.

RACE 7 No.6 Champagne Cuddles

First up specialist who has only missed a win once at four fresh attempts to date and really did run some nice races during the Brisbane winter carnival with improvement still to come as she’s only just turned four years of age. Trialled well behind Redzel recently and with McDonald to ride from the inside gate only needs room to move in the straight to give this a huge shake.

RACE 8 No.11 Soothing

Another one for James McDonald here with this mare who really does look to be going places. Impressive winning her only start last campaign before trialling well leading into a dominant Randwick win early in August where she raced away to score by over 4 lengths. If further improved look out!
