RACE 1 No.3 Picarones

Godolphin trained filly who has done all her racing to date in Melbourne having had the three starts for a win, placing and solid 4th which was in a Blue Diamond Prelude at Caulfield back in February behind Arcaded. She’s drawn wide tomorrow however her pattern is to get back suggesting that’s not going to be any major concern, should there be enough tempo up front I can see her motoring down the outside late and figuring prominently in the finish.

RACE 4 No.7 Barbaric

Team Snowden colt with the good record of 2 wins from his 4 starts and note the failure’s both had valid excuses as he pulled up with blood in one nostril on debut and lame last start in the Wyong Magic Millions. He’s had three lead up trials from early June through to early July winning once and placing a narrow second the latest at Canterbury. Bit of a market watch however if not a noted drifter can run well.

RACE 5 No.1 Harp Marx

Up and coming stayer from the Bjorn Baker yard who has really hit his straps of late winning out to the 2000m last start after putting the writing on the wall his prior start running home solidly from too far back over 1800m. Tomorrow he returns to the 2400m trip which is a distance he raced over consistently last campaign recording a win and two placings. Can win again!
