Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on June 17, 2021June 17, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.4 Hundred Proof A veteran of only three starts to date he keeps on improving with each run suggesting tomorrow could well be his day to break through. At his first wet track outing last start on a soft (6) surface he beat all bar the smart Cap Breton from the Waller yard who was touted as a possible Atkins chance following that win. Tomorrow’s race appears well within his grasp. RACE 4 No.1 Lackeen Godolphin trained import who should be ready to bring up his first victory on Australian soil tomorrow. He had zero luck at successive starts before narrowly beaten here last time when rising 1500m to 2000m only being outgunned narrowly in the run to the line. The damp ground shouldn’t be an issue as he’s placed three times on soft going and his only heavy track run was two back when nothing panned out. RACE 5 No.13 Miracle Street The rain couldn’t have come at a better time for this mare from the Hawkes yard who loves to get her toe in the ground. Up to 1300m last time out she didn’t quite finish off yet wasn’t far away when they hit the line. That suggests the drop back to 1100m is ideal and from the good alley should get the right run for jock Brenton Avdulla. Quaddie 3, 7, 12 1, 6, 8, 2, 3 7, 12, 1 12, 8, 7, 2 Market Market
