Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on January 28, 2021January 28, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.6 Marsannay Lightly raced Snitzel colt from the Waterhouse/Bott yard who placed first up in the Gosford Guineas before doing the same again at the Gold Coast during the Magic Millions carnival. He drew wide at the former and ran on, second up he again drew out however pushed on sitting without cover yet still showing plenty of fight to the line. Drawn a better alley tomorrow and peaking third up he looks all set to break through. RACE 8 No.1 Frosty Rocks Super consistent galloper from the Bjorn Baker stable who led at the Gold Coast both days of the Magic Millions carnival yet had no answer to the finish of Paradee. Those runs were both 1800m which he just finds too far suggesting the drop back to 1500m tomorrow is ideal as he has won over a mile. With the likely cut in the ground he’s even better placed. RACE 9 No.7 Masked Crusader Team Hawkes galloper who has always had plenty of ‘hype’ around him yet has been a tough watch for punters having been beaten at odds-on all three starts last prep. Can’t say I’d suggest launching into an odds-on quote however his trial was very good and should he go around in black figures I’m happy to jump on! Quaddie 2, 4, 5 5, 6, 9 1, 2 3, 7 Market Market
