Turned in a tidy effort first up here at Rosehill running home solidly from back in the field to wind up just off the placegetters. He then raced here again second up when striking a very heavy surface never looking comfortable at any stage. Back to a drier track tomorrow drawn an inside alley he should gain the right run, he’s been heavily backed pre-post suggesting there’s plenty of confidence around his chances.

RACE 4 No.3 Dabiyr

Chris Waller trained import who lapped up the step to 2500m last start toweling up the opposition at Moonee Valley. Only 100m back in trip tomorrow he should at least be able to hold that form even with the rise in weight which should be enough to land the money. James McDonald will certainly give him every chance from an ideal draw.

RACE 8 No.11 Dyslexic

Team Hawkes trained galloper who returned in good order first up at Randwick recently. Drawn the extreme outside gate on that occasion she settled back last before producing a powerful finish to beat all bar the placegetters. Fitter, drawn a much more favourable gate tomorrow expect her to settle a lot closer in the run. Looks overs.
