Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on September 14, 2018 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets Race 3 No.5 Another Dollar Chris Waller trained galloper who goes around second up tomorrow off a strong first up performance here a fortnight back beaten only a length on the line. Her form in Brisbane during the winter was terrific chasing home classy stablemate Youngstar twice in the Roses and Oaks just unable to match that filly (now mare) which is certainly no disgrace! Steps up to the mile which appears very suitable and should gain the right run off an inside draw. RACE 5 No.2 Pierata We already have scratchings in this race and with other runner possibly going around at Newcastle this field will likely fall away further. That’s going to bring this one into a much better gate in the smaller field where he clearly appears the class runner. Impressive first up 4 weeks back and has trialled nicely since. Should be far too good for the opposition. RACE 9 No.12 Eawase Very lightly raced galloper from the Team Snowden yard who impressed winning at Doomben over the Brisbane winter running home strongly to score. She definitely takes a leap in grade first up tomorrow however off a soft recent trial in strong company I wouldn’t be the least surprised to see her unleashing down the outside late in the race. Keep an eye out for any positive market moves. Best Bet Race 5 No.2 Pierata Best Value Race 9 No.12 Eawase Quaddie 6 2, 3 5, 10 5 2, 3, 5, 12 Market Market
