RACE 5 No.3 Hungry Heart

Fast finishing winner of the Vinery Stud Stakes a couple of weeks back running over the top of Harmony Rose late. The tempo was strong that day suggesting she’s now seeking further than the 2000m which she gets tomorrow rising to the 2400m. Drawn well she can hold a spot early for Kerrin McEvoy and from there will prove very hard to hold out when the chips are down in the straight.

RACE 7 No.13 Realm Of Flowers

The two miles of tomorrow’s Sydney Cup looks made to order for this mare who can turn the tables on Favourite Moon who narrowly accounted for her in the Manion Cup at Rosehill 3 weeks back. She came wide with her run and really knuckled down late closing the gap to less than half a length on the line. Placed at 3200m in the Sandown Cup last spring she ticks a lot of boxes.

RACE 10 No.3 Entriviere

Kiwi raider who has been going great guns across the ditch having won 5 of her 6 starts to date. She has the ability to run time and her effort to break 34 seconds final 600m last time out at Ellerslie on a soft surface suggests she’s a top class mare. She’ll need a James McDonald special from the wide gate however with some cover in the run she can show her dazzling ‘turn of foot’ in the straight.
