Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on February 11, 2021February 11, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.7 Mohican Heights Ex UK galloper now in the care of Chris Waller who looks to have found a suitable assignment at his first local outing. A veteran of only 5 starts overseas he won the first couple, ran 3rd in Group 2 company before then finishing out of the placings in the Group 1 Derby and St. Leger which is certainly no disgrace. Nice recent trial running on solidly late behind Peltzer should have him ready to figure in a Benchmark 88. Big betting watch! RACE 6 No.4 Roheryn We all know his pattern is to get back and charge home and even from the good alley here I wouldn’t expect much different. He’s very effective when fresh and although he’s nowhere near first up here he is a month between runs which will suit. He races very well on the track and only needs to be in striking distance half way down the straight to mow down the leaders! RACE 9 No.8 Subedar Going to carry plenty of support in the final race is this second up galloper from the Godolphin yard who does look extremely well placed. Zipped home nicely first up clocking very impressive final 400 and 200m splits, in fact the best of the meeting and his distance and second-up stats all suggest he’s the one to beat. Quaddie 4, 1, 7 6, 1, 8 1, 3 8 Market Market
