Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on January 10, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 6 No.8 Rocha Clock Lightly raced Pierro filly from the flying John O’Shea stable who suffered her first defeat in 3 career starts here a fortnight back. She drops a little in grade tomorrow and although rising to 54.5kg that’s hardly a big impost. From the good alley she should gain a good run in the race and prove very tough to beat. Race 8 No.13 Charrtera Team Snowden trained galloper who has been nothing but consistent this prep however just can’t quite break through. The stable are very shrewd at placing their horses to advantage and it’s worth nothing although he rises officially in grade tomorrow he drops over 6kg from his past two starts with the claim for Ceejay Graham. Plenty of early scratchings in this race which is falling away, big chance! Race 9 No.7 Mr Dependable Waterhouse/Bott stable runner who is flying this prep winning both starts in very strong fashion from up on the pace. Love the way he attacked the line second up over the mile to score running away suggesting the additional 200m tomorrow is made to order. No concern should he not lead as he showed last start that’s not a necessity. Best Value Race 7 No.1 Asharani Quaddie 3, 8 1, 3 5, 13 7 Market Market
