Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on July 18, 2019July 19, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 5 No.6 Attorney Although engaged both here and Eagle Farm on Saturday all reports suggest he’ll stay home and look to make it 3 wins from as many starts since coming to Australia from France. A winner by a neat length on each occasion over 1600m and 1900m he steps to the 2000m tomorrow which will pose no problems whatsoever as he’s won up to 2400m at home. Just wins again! RACE 7 No.8 Ljungberg Lightly raced galloper who broke through for a much-deserved win his last start and is every possibility of going right on with the job tomorrow. He was very strong at the end of that last start win suggesting the additional 100m stepping to 1400m tomorrow will suit nicely. Up a little in grade however drops in weight and draws well. Can win again! Race 8 No.9 Zavance Placed at Rosehill over this trip two starts back he then ventured north and ran a cracking race in the Sunshine Coast Guineas on a very heavy track 3 weeks ago. With 55.5kg tomorrow returning to Benchmark company she appears very well placed and stays at the same 1600m trip. Drawn out Tommy Berry will ride her back before launching his run down the centre once hitting the straight, look for her to be motoring to the line.
